Very informative- discussed my options/possibilities by beginning with how the thyroid and parathyroid work through all the possible scenarios. He gave us plenty of opportunities to ask questions. We feel ready for the next step.

A year after I had blood work allergy test done still waiting on the results from Dr. Wood's incompetent staff. Next to impossible to get a human on the phone. This is a complete waste of time and money especially when he requires you to take worthless test and then requires you to do blood work anyway having to pay $1,000 for failed test.

Do not use this doctor. He has no bedside manner and does not listen to you. The very last time I booked with this doctor he did not even bother to come in. He sent his his NP.

Dr. Wood treated me for thyroid cancer. I was so scared and nervous but he walked me through every procedure and even prayed with me right before my second surgery. I thank God everyday day that he put him in my path. Thank you so much Dr. Wood.

I like this doctor. He has a wonderful attitude, explained all my options and made me feel very comfortable. He has great knowledge. I had gone to other doctors that have never given me the options Dr. Wood had.

Dr. John Wood is a phenomenal surgeon. He performed a thyroidectomy on me on 1/7/16. The procedure was more than I could have hoped for. No cancer was found. Dr. Wood initiated praying with my husband, my son, myself and for himself before I went into surgery. I had such a feeling of peace and I knew I would be o.k. His mannerisms, his compassion, his taking the time with you are beyond words. When I had my stitches removed 6 days after surgery, Dr. Wood prayed with my husband and I again.
