Excellent surgeon, very caring
Received a thorough examination, not rushed, good explanation of treatment options and of the surgical procedure. Professional, kind, caring! I had great results following knee surgery!

It didn't matter that I was not an athlete.
Dr. X has operated on both of my shoulders and left them both better off than I can ever remember them being. My job requires me to work with hammers and axes for long periods and because of the job he did, I am able to still do what I need to do.

Dr Xerogeanes was horrible to deal with ahead of my knee surgery. He went out of town for the two weeks before my procedure date and when he came back completely changed my surgery plan the day before the procedure. I was not okay with the changes and had to switch doctors for the procedure. He is a cocky arrogant man that treats patients like cars in a chop shop, no care for each individual's case he just applies the same attitude and approach to everyone. Stay away from this doctor.

Recommend Dr. Xerogeanes
My visit was great! Dr. Xerogeanes and his team reviewed my health records regarding my injury. I had a thorough physical exam. He answered all of my questions and concerns. He explained my injury, showed me examples of what my injury looked like and made his recommendation.

38yr old, highly active, former UGA Track & Field Athlete still very active in sports and outdoor activities. I had a very severe injury where my quad ruptured off the tendon and a partial patellar tendon tear. Ive been exactly 6 months removed from surgery and I can tell Ill be on my way to a full recovery in the next 6 months. Ive really dedicated 1-2 days a week rehabing my knee and slowly reintroducing physical activity. I felt very reassured that Dr. X said I could push my knee without the lingering thought of it rupturing again. I dont feel any pain and with each passing week I feel it getting stronger and feeling just as if the injury never happened. I usually play tennis, basketball, golf, mountain bike, etc. My forward/backward movements are just shy of feeling like my preinury self, lateral movements are following closely, jumping, and explosive moves will be closer to the 8 month mark, but honestly Im ecstatic with my progress. I feared I wouldnt be active again

It took me 10 years to finally decide to get my ACL fixed because I was nervous about the down time, but I’m glad I did. Dr. X took the time to answer questions going into surgery as well as reassuring me a speedy recovery. He was thorough with the pros and cons of using an allograft vs. Autograft. He took my own quad for the repair, and it might have been a longer recovery but my knee is stronger than ever. I mainly wanted to get back into skiing without having the thought of my knee giving out at any moment. Dr. X did a fantastic job repairing my ACL. I took my first ski trip after 10 months of recovery, and it was a night and day difference. I could barely tell the difference in both knees. If anything, my surgery knee is better than my non-surgery knee. I highly recommend Dr. X and his team. Also, Kenny from Emory PT helped me have a quick recovery and tailored my sessions to focus on stability and strength for skiing. I couldn’t have asked for a better recovery.

Both Dr. X and Dr. Mautner are truly excellent. They listened to what I said. My initial MRI did not indicate the issue we had discussed, but they took what they heard from me and made sure I received appropriate care. At one week out from surgery, I am already significantly better and on the road back to doing what I love. I am grateful to them for everything. Although surgery is never fun, it has been totally worth it so far.a

Dr. X and his team genuinely provide the best care. They listen, they acknowledge you, and better yet, they take care of you. They always have the best attitudes and welcome you into their office as their own. Dr. X took great care of me before and during my surgery procedure, and even during recovery after the procedure he guided me back to health. He is a professional and expert in his work, his knowledge and skill to communicate that knowledge to his patients is appreciated. He cares a-lot for his patients, with his great motivating and positive attitude. Hes the best. Enough said.
