Excellent surgeon
Dr. Ark fixed my very broken wrist, which definitely makes all my everyday tasks easier! Almost no pain after the surgery as well!

Dr Ark, visit date Jan 23, 2023
Dr Ark performed carpel tunnel surgery on my right wrist approx 5 years ago. It was a success.Today I discussed discomfort with left wrist possibly from carpel tunnel. Dr A ordered Xrays and later discussed his findings. He explained my three options 1. do nothing and wear a wrist brace at night2. take a steroid shot 3. schedule surgeryI opted for #2. The following morning after sleeping with a wrist brace I experienced no carpel tunnel symptoms, the first time in many months. He had advised the shot effect would take 4 or 5 days.I am very satisfied with Dr Ark's visit and would not hesitate to recommend him.Lastly, I found the Hillsboro office difficult to find. My road map apt took me to a large shopping center. I eventually found the office by asking for help and someone recommended I look for the Appleby restaurant and the office across the street....very difficult. Also I initially did not recognize the POA signs on the building,

Professional, down-to-earth, no smartsplain :-)
Dr Ark is amicable and professional and is thorough. He likes to have evidencing data before jumping into things. I am heading his advice. He is composed, intelligent and most of all down to earth -- isn't trying to roll you over with his ability to surface medical jargon.I left with the feeling that I just got quality advisement and quality care. Thanks Dr and Kyra.

Extremely caring as well as skillful.
When Dr Ark asked you 'How are you?', he really wants to know how you are. It's not just a platitude. He cares how you're generally feeling as well as how you're healing is going. I had a very difficult break that took a two and a half hour surgery and a lot of metal to fix. Yet, I have regained full use of my arm and wrist and hand. Doctor Ark and his team, for his team is fantastic also, are all skillful and personal.
