Orthopedic Excellence
Dr Minter performed a bilateral knee replacement for me 10 years after his initial diagnosis and recommendation. Overall it was an experience of excellence. Don’t get me wrong, the first week after surgery was very tough, but I was walking without a cane by the end of week two. Hands down, he is the GOAT of arthroplasty; which is advanced knee and hip replacement in the ATL. He would be my first choice for any of my family. His office team, including Rawle and Donna, were attentive to all my needs and concerns, and made sure I was prepared for my big day of surgery. His Nurse and Surgical Teams were very professional. I went into the surgery kicking, but I am so glad I did it I have my legs back and I can do what I used to do. My wife is especially pleased; I have literally been an at home person since Covid, working out of the house and rarely going places. Because of Dr Minter - that chapter of my life is over!Thank you Dr Minter and your staff.David King

Total Knee Replacement Surgery
Less than 5 months ago Dr. Jon Minter performed surgery for a total knee replacement on me. Today I was able to accomplish the goal that I had set for myself prior to the surgery, which was to be able to balance on an exercise ball on my knees. My trainer said he had never seen anyone respond to knee replacement surgery so quickly. Dr. Minter was excellent to work with. He was responsive to any questions, he was caring, and yet he was extremely professional. I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for any orthopedic replacement surgery.

Bilateral Knee Replacement
I would recommend Dr. Minter to all my family and friends. I needed both knees replaced and although he doesn't typically do bilateral knee replacements. He gave me the option of doing both at the same time. My surgery was a success. I am 6 weeks Post op and would totally do both knees at the same time again. Dr. Minter's team was awesome and listened to my issues, kept me informed and took care of whatever I needed. I picked Dr. Minter because he uses the Mako Robot. My situation was I have metal allergies, he took that into consideration and used a different metal than he normally uses and was unable to use the mako robot on me. My surgery was still a success. I am so happy with how this surgery turned out. One of my legs was so bowlegged I could barely walk which also made my hips hurt. Dr. Minter straightened that leg out and now I am no longer bowlegged. I feel like Dr. Minter gave me my life back and I am completely grateful for that. Thank You Dr. Minter and your team.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Minter
I am 77 years old. I went to Dr. Minter in dire need of a total knee replacement. Dr. Minter and his staff, Donna, Melinda and Rawl provided the pre and post surgery support that was very important to me. I would highly recommend Dr. Minter to anyone in need of a joint replacement. At 6 weeks post surgery I am 90% back to my pre-surgery activity ... walking, cycling, gym workouts and swimming. I walked without a cane 5 days after surgery!! Dr. Minter and his staff are compassionate and helpful....a rarity today in the medical world. I give him 5 stars!!!!!

Revision Cured Me!
I had a full knee replacement performed by another doctor during August 2020. For over two years after the replacement, I suffered with constant swelling, instability and frustration. Dr. Minter evaluated my condition, gave his recommendation and performed a revision surgery during February 2023. My knew swelling is now gone, I have stability and experiencing the full reward of a knee replacement. I highly recommend Dr. Minter. When I go to have my other knee replaced, he will be performing the surgery.

AMAZING!! Recommend × 1000
I had not been able to move my right leg without severe pain for 2 1/2years, because of an accident. Was told repeatedly by several doctors, different professional training that my pain was coming from my back. Had 2 MRI (back), 1 MRI neck, x-rays hip, knee. Sent for therapy. All without a real diagnosis. Told to lose weight, would never walk again & live with it.Finally went back to orthopedic surgeon for help. He found my problem, did extensive reconstruction surgery. The pain is gone (from that problem)!! Rebuilding strength & I will walk again. Cannot thank Dr. Minter enough He is very thorough & caring.

If I could rate Dr Minter 100 stars , I would. My husband had a HTO (High Tibial Ostomy) 12 years ago and his knee was painful and not stable. He had 2 plates and 7 screws in his knee that Dr Minter needed to remove in addition to doing the knee replacement procedure. The first Dr my husband saw told him that he would need to have two separate surgery's , one to remove the hardware and another to do the knee replacement. Dr Minter did both in one surgery and we went home that day:) It has been about 6 weeks since the knee replacement and we are thrilled with the outcome! My husband can stand with his leg straight and he can bend his knee over 130 degrees which he could not do before. He is walking normally and climbing the many stairs in our home is no problem. We are going on a one month camping trip next week and he is looking forward to riding his dirt bike again in the near future! Dr Minter did a fine job and we highly recommend him.

He’s very caring and thorough the best of the best. He did my husband’s hips in an emergency and comforted us through it and then I sent my 80 year old mom to him for her hip. He’s a great man and one of our veterans

I had total hip replacement, right side December 2020. Pre-operatively Dr. Minter listened to my concerns about the pain I had in my hip and how much it restricted my lifestyle. He provided excellent advice at that time and even better surgical expertise! A winning combination, Dr. Minter and the Robot at Northside Hospital Surgical Center. Everyone at Arthritis and Total Joint Specialists was attentive, caring, and highly qualified. I recommend this team to anyone experiencing pain due to osteoarthritis!

My husband went to DR. Minter for a revision knee replacement. Where he did through a different Doctor. With no fault of Minter several revisions was done. With infection continue due to improper first knee replacement. He continued to have to go back for help from Dr. Minter after he moved to get proper help, coming to him from Tennessee. He has now passed away and would agree with me that Dr. Minter was a god sent.

Dr. Minter performed a TKR on my left knee. The procedure and recovery went as well as anyone could possibly ask for considering the nature of the surgery. The process that his office uses to communicate through the Force application is very effective and a great reference as you go through the process. My only "complaint" is that my wife has informed me my left leg looks much better/straighter than my right leg (she's a certified personal trainer, so she notices things like that). I think I'll hold on to my right knee as long as it will let me. I would highly recommend Dr. Minter to anyone looking for a similar procedure. Very happy with my outcome.
