Dr. Rosser is top notch and considered one of the best. I have been seeing him for many years and he continues to be excellent. He makes a very personal topic easy to discuss. He also accommodated me with a special scheduling request so that I could have a second procedure preformed at the same time as my colonoscopy, with a second physician and at a different location, which is not an easy task to accomplish. He takes his time, calls you by name and is an excellent physician.

About 15 years ago, Dr. Rosser diagnosed me with Crohn's Disease of my terminal ileum. As a breastfeeding mother, he prescribed me a Crohn's med that would allow me to breastfeed my twins. When I was in pain with my gallbladder, he ordered a Hida scan and promptly sent me to a general surgeon at St. Vincent's in Birmingham. (As a proctologist, he could have just sent me on, but he did the right thing, instead.) His colonoscopy reports are more detailed than other GI-related scans that other GI-docs have done for me. Unfortunately, once I had a hiatal hernia diagnosed, Dr. Rosser felt that a gastroenterologist could oversee all my GI-related concerns. However, three years and four gastroenterologists later, I have yet to have a doctor to want to prescribe me a Crohn's med, because I have mild disease, and no one has ever fit me in their schedule like Dr. Rosser did. If you can keep your GI-problems under the literal stomach area, I would stick with Dr. Rosser.
