Dr. Jonathan Aronowitz, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Aronowitz since 2017. I first met him during a deep depression following a complete breakdown. Luckily I had an excellent therapist at the time that kept me in good shape until I was able to see him. He is extremely kind, caring, and considerate of your thoughts when coming up with your treatment plan. It's been 4 years and I can't imagine seeing another psychiatrist!

Dr. Aronowitz and his staff (Lorraine) are exceptionally great at what they do. Lorraine is very respectful and professional with a will to please every patient. She is extremely prompt with getting back to me to schedule my next appointment at my convenience. I also have the pleasure of talking to Lorraine when I get to my appointment early. Lorraine always makes you feel at home while in the office and takes the time to listing to you if you want to talk. Lorraine is a great asset to Dr. Aronowitz practice. Dr. Aronowitz is as well a great Dr. He is very intelligent, open minded, and listens to what you have to say. Dr. Aronowitz is very soft spoken and always on top of whatever you may need.

Dr Aronowitz is incredible. I never feel rushed during our appointment. He is very understanding and intuitive. And his demeanor is very welcoming and comforting. I'm saddened to read a review regarding the office staff Lorraine that portrays her in such a negative way. Any interaction I have ever had with her has been easy and pleasant. She is accommodating of all patient needs and is always willing to help.

After visiting this practice for the past 30 years, I felt it was appropriate to give my thoughts on the office. Lorraine, the office manager, has been a consummate professional for all of these years that I have been going to the practice. I have also recommended the practice to many friends and the feedback that I have received about Lorraine was tremendous! She has literally gone above and beyond for me like one would do for a member of their family. Dr. Aronowitz took over the practice some years ago and has turned it into a great family practice. Even though I no longer live in Brooklyn, I still travel 50 miles each way once a month to go to this office. Obviously everyone’s interpretation of a practice is different, however my experience has been some of the best treatment I have received and I will continue to recommend to my friends and family. These people are truly hidden gems!

Dr. Aronowitz is a caring, kind professional. I have been his patient for many years and am very pleased with his office. Contact his admin, Lorraine, who promptly answers your questions in a professional, courteous manner. They are wonderful.

I have to say being a single parent with a child who is diagnosed with ADHD and ODD could not have found a better doctor and assistant in Lorraine. Lorraine at the front desk gave all of her time and effort to assist me and calm my worries while my son was in session.

Dr. Aronowitz is a sensitive, caring doctor. He is attentive and is analytically astute. I feel cared about and protected. His staff person, Lorraine, is the best. I’ve know her for eight years, and I have never had a problem with her or this doctor. Both the doctor and his staff person, Lorraine, are flexible with scheduling and truly care about the patients. You can trust my judgment. This is the best doctor’s office on Staten Island.

Dr Aronowitzs admin Lorraine is nothing short of an Angel. she is so understanding and so helpful with all of my health and personal needs. She is a compassionate and dedicated woman that always puts the needs of patients first! I highly recommend Dr Aronowitz. Speak to Lorraine she will work to get you an appointment because she knows how important good psychiatric care is for quality of life.

I have known Lorraine for more than 25 years. She has shown me nothing but kindness and patience. She is always there even if it’s a weekend. She’ll check voice mail and is always the first to call and find out how I am doing. I love her and cannot disagree more with this very unkind review. Also, Dr. Aronowitz is the best doctor ever.

The admin Lorraine called me on Sun looking for insurance and when I did not respond fast enough called again to threaten to cancel if i did not hustle. So i sent it in and left a message that a threat to cancel when I didn’t hustle fast enough wasn’t very kind in a time of anxiety for all of us - so then she called me back lecturing me about my behavior and that I could cancel (I said i did not want to cancel) but she kept telling me off that I hadn’t sent it in earlier and that I can see it was Dr office calling (I could not) and when she kept lecturing I just hung up. So she cancelled my son’s appointment - the worst bedside manner ever - don’t go to this doctor and encourage this horrible behavior.
