Wonderful, educated doctor & Gives many options
Been with Dr.Bloomberg for many years now, through middle school and now into university. I really love him. He's been so helpful and accommodating, always listens and seems to truly care. Often goes above & beyond if necessary and has been a great advocate for me in the educational world when it comes to getting accommodations. Always willing to explore other options.

Been with Dr. J.B. for about 10+ years, and I'm 24 years old now. Fantastic psychiatrist that has a unique outlook on combining therapy and medicine to help people work through mental health/death/trauma. I recommend highly for kids, young adults dealing with tough issues.

Bloomberg’s treatment made my life measurably worse. I can’t even bring myself to put his name and “doctor” in the same sentence. Please stay away.

Such a great doctor. Has helped my tween son immensely. He’s conservative but not afraid to explore different options when appropriate. Highly recommend.

The staff there is amazing and kind but Dr Bloomberg treats his patients like cash-cows rather than people who are actually capable of being rational. He disregards patient input entirely and fully embodies the archetypal 15 minutes $300 appointment kind of psychiatrist.

First of all, his office staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Besides the fact that Dr. Bloomberg is the one psychiatrist recommended to us enthusiastically by all clinicians, the level of CONCERN and CARING he showed was incredible. He is a gifted clinician (the best in Chicago for teens), but he wants to treat the kid, not just dispense medicine. His approach is holistic and he takes on the whole family. He is expensive, but so worth it.
