Borderline negligent
My pcp if 45 years retired and I was having difficulty finding one that I could accept some had strange policies. I went to this doctor with recent lab work which he appeared to review and ordered a diagnostic test. I scheduled an annual visit which was a disaster. I could have died in front of him and I doubt he’d notice. Most of the time he was trying to sell me an ekg which I didn’t need and brought one with me. Then as a seasoned medicalOffice manager I went bolistic when on top of the annual visit he billed a second extensive office visit. He’s a money grabber and I doubt he has the experience his profile indicates. I most definitely will not be going back there. If I don’t find a competent pcp I’ll just use urgent care if I get sick.

Please Read. Stay FAR Away. I implore you!
This man is a danger to your health. I am 58 years old. At age 54 I suddenly developed some rare and severe conditions. One is a very severe Adrenal Deficiency. I waited 2 years to get to see an endo at Columbia University who I recently lost. We routinely checked my Cortisol level in my blood to see if I was producing any, because if I didn't take prednisone daily, I was going to die. I literally had to explain to this so-called doctor nurse, TWICE, on the telephone how to do this test and he STILL could understand. You could Google this and know the information in 5 minutes. And this guy is an MD.Now THAT is scary. I knew I was switching doctors before I even hung up that second phone call. I was blown away. As should all of you be. Please do not go to this man. He does not know what he is doing and if you really need something he may not even know what to do. If that doesn't frighten you now, what will you feel like should something happen, and this man is your guy. PLEASE don't!

Dr boxer was incredibly attentive and has a very calming bedside manner. He listened and discussed everything I was concerned about. When it came to one issue, his presentation was truthful, but not alarming.

Dr. Jonathan Boxer has an unusually kind bedside manner. He listens carefully and shows real professionalism and compassion for his patient's concerns. Clearly he's extremely intelligent and well trained, but he has the soft skills that are sadly so often lacking in physicians today. The office staff can be a bit hit or miss. They're generally kind and competent, but sometimes can be a bit curt. I look forward to seeing him as my primary care doctor for many years to come
