Jonathan Gage, M.D.
Doctor Gage is most unusual in that he really listens to me. He truly cares about his patients as evidenced by his kind and calming manner when he visits me in hospital during his Rounds; which tend to be often.

Find another doctor
waited almost an hour to see him and then he was more interested in showing off his knowledge to the intern who was shadowing him than talking with me. Left not learning anything about my present health. I found another cardiologist. I suggest other prospective patient do the same

Dr. Gage first welcome you into his office, where here he takes the time to talk about what is going on with you, and then he examines you, afterwards goes over best route to get you to better health. I never feel rushed and that he really listens to your concerns.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Gage?
Dr Gage spends more time explaining the function of the heart and/or what it is not doing than listening to his patient's concerns. I had to interrupt his ongoing dialog to get in just one question that was of particular concern to me. I had other questions I wanted to ask but I gave up attempting to interrupt him. So now I will wait to get those questions answered when I see my primary care physician who does listen to her patients.

Very up to date, unbelievably quick to pick up on things-like wrong meds I was on!!! Now my Doc, he's treated my husband for over 10 yrs. Great sense of humor, too.

Dr Gage is one who still spends time with his patients. He knows the latest medical literature but also is interested in maximizing quality of life and individualizing his care plan for the particular patient. My mother is 90, she is the patient, I am also a family physician, and I can personally attest to his great bedside manner, and to his attention to her cardiac condition and how it interacts with her other comorbidities. He hasn't let the industrialization ofthe medical profession change him
