Great surgeon
3 months ago Dr King removed a piece of my colon and reconnected it last week.I was super lucky to find him as both operations were a great success. Not only is he a great doctor but also has a great attitude. Every one I came across that knows him said the same thing.

Excellent surgery and care by Dr. King!
Can not say enough great things about Dr. King. My elderly mother needed a tumor removed and we were referred with enthusiasm by staff at SM UCLA hospital to Dr. King, who they assured us, "is one of the best!". From start to finish, Dr. King was outstanding in every way--thorough in his explanations about the process, diagnosis and prognosis, performed the minimally invasive surgery successfully (with very little downtime for my mom), was present and engaged at all follow up appointments and is also very kind! Most importantly, my mother is now in great health in her 80s, thanks to Dr. King and I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone seeking care from a great oncology surgeon!

Very smooth emergency surgery. He had good bed side manners and called my family to follow up when he was done.

Probably the most arrogant and ignorant doctor on the planet! He will not listen to you nor does he really care. All our suggestions from previous specialists are ignored and he thinks he knows everything and does not need to consult with anyone. Stay far away from this guy and request a different surgeon, better yet go to a different hospital!!!

This surgeon has no experience with spinal cord injuries, yet he has the audacity to lecture a quadriplegic how his autonomic dysreflexia is not an issue and not caused by pain. He literally walked out after trying to get him to talk to experts at Craig hospital. Hope this guy loses his license soon and banned from surgery. Be warned anyone, double check this arrogant surgeons recommendations with a real expert.

Arrogant and incompetent surgeons and staff. Dr. Jonathan Charles King, General Surgeon outright says we are wrong about autonomic dysreflexia being a problem, even though he has no experience with spinal cord injury anywhere in his CV. Yet since he is a surgeon he believes he does not have to listen to his patients and refused to consult with experts surgeons at Craig Hospital, whom where willing to conference call to educate his arrogant self.
