Dr. Koning IS an exemplary doctor: genuine, truly caring, attentive to his patients. He explains clearly, opens to ideas. He treats the whole patient, not just the illness. His staff is courteous and very helpful.Thank you, Dr Koning for your compassionate care.

Leading up to my appointment my pharmacist had mentioned speaking to my doctor about switching up my usual prescription due to the current availability. Everyone seems to be out of it. I was very hesitant to even bring it up due to previous experiences with prior doctors. I was afraid of being labeled as a patient with 'Drug seeking behavior'. Might I add that I am in my mid 30's and im used to not being taken seriously from other doctors. To my surprise, they actually listened and understood my situation. I was provided with a slightly different prescription that was available. Crisis averted!

Dr. Koning IS what doctors USE to be like .Genuine , truly CARING, and fully attentive . He gives honest answers, open to ideas that are not his own,AND he makes you feel as though he doesn’t have any other patients . He also gives eye contact when he speaks AND when he LISTENS. He has the characteristics of a person you would want as a dear friend to go do things with in life!. ( have dinner with, go play golf with etc)

He listens, does not waste any time on treating your condition. I trust him, I have been seeing Dr. Koning over 15 yrs. Now.

My visit was to adjust the pain medication in my pain pump so as to treat the pain I have had in both of my legs and feet goin g on 10 years. Dr Koning and his PA, Alex demonstrate professionalism of the highest standards and do recommend his practice to anyone in need of pain management.

I was referred to this doctor by someone I met that has the same pain issues or similar pain issues that I have. Nobody’s pain issues are the same. I’ve been having chronic severe pain since 2013 from a Neuro autoimmune disease & I have been wheelchair-bound 5 to 6 times throughout my life since then. I have MS or NMO the neurologists have not decided! Needless to say the pain is severe because I have fibromyalgia & severe back issues, etc. rheumatoid arthritis & connective tissue disorder. Bottom line, the doctor is nice. But so far working with the staff has been horrific! Until I had to sit down & speak with the PA about my situation & then they finally listened I thought! I have had one injection with him. It kind of worked.. I thought he would be more of a proactive doctor & involved with his patient’s care! I’m only supposed to be paying $50 to see him and I’m going through a financial hardship and I’m having to pay $120 which I cant afford! They don’t seem to care!!

Doctor Koning took the time to explain options so that I could make an informed decision. Thank you

Dr King listened to my pain journey, and understood the issues I had. We are trying two drugs to make my pain bearable. I look forward to my next visit to see what we do next.

Dr. Koning is one of the best doctors my husband has ever seen! He has the best bedside manner & empathy for his patients. He takes the time to listen and come up with options that help ease the suffering. We are so grateful for him and his amazing staff. My husband would be miserable without him.

He's always interested in how I'm dealing with pain. We'll talk about things I can do to treat pain outside of medications. We talk about the brain and how it works with pain and medications. He's such a caring person, I appreciate him more than words can say! I've been treated very badly by some doctors and surgeons but he stands above them all and cares how I'm doing as a person. My mom even loves to come with me when I have appointments with him bc it's a rare sight to see such a wonderful doctor in action. We love Dr. Koning

Dr Koning listened to my explanation of my pain, reviewed past MRI disks and explained my options then recommended a treatment plan. He answered all my questions and we quickly decided upon a treatment plan which has proved to be quite successful. Dr Koning is clearly interested in helping his patients and I trust him

Dr. Koning is very caring, thorough, and has a wonderful, tru bedside manner, so to speak. My daughter is only 22 with herniated discs (among other issues) and because of insurance changes we have seen a few doctors in pain mgmt, but none compare to Dr. Koning. As for his staff, all the same qualities…always a pleasure to deal with, even on your worst day!

Dr. Koning not only has managed my issues masterfully, he has empathy and compassion. He affirmed my concerns and treats me with respect. Best doc around! Excellent staff as well.

VERY PROFESSIONAL STAFF AND SHORT WAIT TIMES. GREAT DOCTOR. I RECENTLY HAD A SPINAL STIMULATOR IMPLANT AND IT IS WORKING VERY WELL AND ALLOWS ME TO GO ON LONGER WALKS WITH LESS BACK PAIN.

From Taylors warm smile the moment you walk in, the nurse who takes your current information before Dr Koning comes in for the visit and finally to scheduling the follow-up appointment the visits are always so pleasant. Dr Koning always brings positive energy to each visit, and he genuinely cares about my disability and how it affects my life. My visits to Dr. Koning office has been great. The staff is always real friendly. The Doctor’s MA is amazing in her gf own right, she’s always working on making me feel less pain. This practice really cares about you and your pain.

I’m a new patient and yesterday was my first visit. Dr. Koning didn’t rush the visit, he listened and quickly came up with a treatment plan for me. I’m glad to have got in to see him so quickly. The staff was great and the office was clean. Dr. Koning is sending me for imaging and to a PT gym. I did not have to beg for help like I have with most Physicians I’ve seen in the past. Thanks Dr. Koning. Great Physician so far!

Dr Koning was empathetic, and was willing to work with me . I felt like he genuinely cared and was willing to help however he could.
