Common sense doctor
Dr Leibowitz is an excellent doctor, the type that are very difficult to find. He doesn’t drone to the standard, but actually thinks when treating patients.

Kind, Hospitable, Honest
Dr. Leibowitz is honestly one of the great few doctors there! Truly takes time to check in with you, is respectful, remembers details even if it has been many months from the last visit, and takes least invasive approach to being healthy. Truly appreciate him and every visit was always less than an hour!

Very thorough and excellent diagnostician. Some people may find his humor strange like Seinfeld but otherwise has a great bedside manner. Very highly recommended.

Left feeling unsettled and not taken seriously
One of the first things Dr Leibowitz said when he came in was “Are you really anorexic?”, alluding to the fact that I looked healthy. I told him that I was in treatment several years back and am not dealing with any symptoms currently. Later in the visit, he told me “The good thing is you’re thin, most people are overweight and have lots of health issues, so anorexia is your friend. But you don’t want it to be too close of a friend”. This is not helpful to say to someone with an eating disorder. When talking about the medication that I was there to get refilled, I told him it was working great, despite still having some social anxiety. He asked “Is that why you’re wearing a mask?” I explained that I was staying with my partner, and they feel more comfortable with me wearing a mask in public. Dr Leibowitz continued to reference my mask throughout the visit, in a way that implied he thought it was unnecessary.Did not receive compassionate or empathetic care from this doctor.

Very thorough diagnostican. Tells you what's wrong even if you don't want to hear it. That's why I trust this physician. Also has a quirky sense of humor
