Dr. Jonathan Paley, MD

Had a procedure to remove a bartholin cyst. Had cyst for 7 years. Always between a large grape and walnut. It got full blown once to the size of a cutie mandarin orange. Burst every time I gave birth and comes back shortly after. I went to finally get some relief. He recommended a balloon catheter and said he might not be able to insert it since it was not full blown but at least we could drain it. I was fine with that but he was unable to even get it to drain. He said he could feel it in there he just couldn't get it to come out. Was still willing to insert the catheter even though he had previously stated he was not sure he was in the cyst. I told him not to do that. What kind of doctor would! I do not want to pay for a produre that was not rendered. When I called to talk about it they then told me he said there was no fluid to drain...seriously!? Bled for nothing. Procedure for nothing. He not once said there was no fluid to drain. Not trustworthy. Do not go here.

Dr. Paley has overseen two childbirths and I had great experiences with him both times. I completely trust his judgement and he always has made me feel comfortable during our appointments. He’s not one for a lot of small talk, but that’s fine with me!

I had a surgery and I was referred to Dr. Paley. He was my attending. Very professional and assuring under the circumstances I was in. First time I had met. He is very knowledgeable and will answer any, any question and will just wait. I never feel hurried when he's in the room. My surgery went well - no infection or surprises - just healed as expected. Front office is a brusque at best. You really need to be an advocate of your own care when dealing with them and don't take things personally

I've been a patient of Dr. Paley's for 10+ years and have always found him professional, helpful, informative and kind with a sense of humor that makes appointments comfortable and friendly. His staff is always polite and efficient.

I met Dr. Paley at a childbirth preparation course at Overlake a few years ago and I immediately connected with his laid back personality and no-nonsense approach to pregnancy at childbirth. With my first pregnancy I had severe nausea for 7 months and he assured me that my child was still going to be healthy instead of insisting I need to eat a balanced diet and making me feel bad. As a critical care nurse I confident in his knowledge and skill, and he will be helping me deliver my second soon.

Billing department is very unprofessional.

This doctor seems as if he is just there for the money. He makes many sarcastic and degrading remarks and I will be sure to go to another clinic. His staff is very rude and I had to wait about 40 min for my appointment.

Dr. Paley's bedside manner was not a good fit. I found him patronizing. He is a competent doctor and did fine during the delivery, but his demeanor and attitude really turned me off. I would not go to him again and would not recommend him.
