He did not seem knowledgeable on the topic of infectious disease and took a while to reference materials for information he should have known. He did not reference my chart before entering the appointment which was very clear. He said a few inappropriate comments during the appointment which I had to look past. I am a healthcare professional as well and would never even imagine speaking to a patient the way he did.

I have been a patient of Dr. Pinsky for 9 years for a chronic condition. He's very knowlegable. I see him every 6 months in his Bolingbrook office. I have never had to wait long, and I find the office staff friendly and helpful. The one drawback to that office is their phone system - but I don't blame them for that and I've said something to them about it. He answers all of my questions about treatment and tests. I don't require a lengthy appointment, nor would I want one. He also doesn't feel the need to order excessive labs and unnecessary treatments - and I appreciate that. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

This guy should not have a license to practice medicine! He is a completely incompetent. I was released from the hospital after 9 days significantly worse than when I got there. Had to go to another hospital for proper treatment. He does not listen to the patient at all. He treated me successfully 2 years ago for the same thing. Unfortunately it took 3 reoccurrences for him to get it right. He treated me for the same thing totally different this time than what was successful last time but failed to even bother checking or listening to me. My illness immobilized me for a month when it should have been significantly less if I was treated correctly due to Dr Pinsky’s incompetence.

It was terrible. I hear he is brilliant, never would have known it by meeting him. He does not show any concerns for your well being gets u in and out in 5 minutes. Overcharged me for medications i could no longer take for his benefit. I devekoped c-diff from yhe medicine. I has to throw it out cause i got a highly contagious disease because he overmedicated me past yhe 14 days i was supposed to be on the meds. Bad soctor so not see him. He does not care about his patients only the money

Saw Dr. Pinsky for an initial consult in December. I didn’t wait an inordinate amount of time to be seen but the time spent with him was far from quality. I was asked “what meds do you want” instead of going over treatment options with him. The phlebotomosts in the office were the worst I’ve ever seen. It took 3 nurses 8 tries to get a vein (I’ve never had an issue in the past finding veins). I only got my lab results back after calling the office 6 times virtually stalking them. Awful followup

Dr. Pinsky seemed concerned and thorough when I met him, but this office is a poorly run mess! My surgeon’s office tried repeatedly to get some info faxed from him for weeks. Then the DAY BEFORE MY SURGERY, his office told the surgeon I should have been on an antibiotic for five days before my surgery! Even my highly reputable surgeon’s admin assistant seemed stunned because we had been begging for Dr. Pinsky’s feedback for weeks! Good ID doctor probably, but disastrously inefficient office!

I've never felt so insignificant in my entire life as I did with Dr. Pinsky. He spent less than 10 minutes with me, even though it was a new consult and should have been allotted at least 40 minutes. Dr. Pinsky did not care about my symptoms, did not take notes, and was no help. The only reason he even stayed in the room was because I was so upset and frustrated that I started crying. He was awful to me and my Mother, who took the day off work to come with me. He should not be a Doctor. Awful.

Office does not pick up the phone the 3 days a week it's open. Horrible wait time, heard gentleman in next room walk out because he had waited 45 minutes. I waited 30. Took 2 voicemails and 3 weeks to get blood work results. Nice guy, poorly ran office.

Dr.Pinsky was instrumental in helping my wife overcome the West Nile Virus. He was always checking in with us and explaining the process of treatment. He was amenable to questions and very thorough with the explanations. When the final diagnosis came in he called me before he notified the doctors with the final results. I would unequivocally recommend this man to anyone undergoing anything that is directly or indirectly related to his field of medicine. Tom Reichert

Doctor Pinsky is a fierce advocate for his patients. I'm immune suppressed and he would often argue with the other doctors here at the nursing home who wanted to put me on antibiotics for a suspected uti which was asymptomatic. He would really dress down those doctors.
