Biased and not willing to be as helpful as others in his specialty

Dr Pratt and all the staff at Morgantown are amazing. He is very caring and works with me and has always provided the best care ever. He is very easy to understand and he is very knowledgeable. He listens to what I have say.

Dr Pratt placed a spinal cord stimulator in for me. He’s excellent! Make sure you don’t set yourself expectations that such a procedure will cure all your pains, it can’t. But if you’re looking for relief to some degree, Dr Pratt is the man.

I would like to bring your attention to the fact that the reviews are split between 1 star and 5 stars with very little in between. Dr. Pratt is an absolutely outstanding physician. However, he is not God and is limited by regular human physiology & application of modern medicine. Expectations are key when dealing with chronic pain. Dr. Pratt is very thorough and cares about his patients. He will do a comprehensive evaluation and give evidence based reasons detailing why a procedure will or wont help. Even when you are experiencing extreme pain and willing to endure very invasive measures to eradicate that (Ive been there) he will give honest feedback if he thinks the risk-benefit profile would make the procedure worthwhile. NOTE: some physicians would just do the procedure. This saves time and they make more money. He is different. I fully trust his judgement and would recommend him to anyone (God forbid they experience pain like I did). He has been fundamental to my recovery.

Dr. Pratt has come the closest to dealing with my back and neck pain than anyone without using narcotics. I have scoliosis with the accompanying arthritis at every curve and joint. He actually got me OFF hydrocodone 10 mg, did trigger point injections for my back and nerve ablation for my neck. I honestly do not have back and neck pain any longer. He knows what he's doing and he's so gentle that you never know when the needle goes in. HE'S A ROCK STAR
