My brother was a patient of his at Friends Hospital and they released him to me on 15+ medications... (both psychiatric and powerful anti-arrythmic with 5 having severei nteractions with each other) I called 10+ times and left 10+ messages pleading for a return call to speak with him or anyone to help with post-release treatment for my brother and I have never had a single call returned and he even refused to renew Rx's when pharmacy called stating that my brother was no longer under his care. This oath-breaking quack named Shack should lose his credentials and his right to mistreat patients and he has given a whole new meaning to the term "HYPOCRITE!" He is a disgrace to the entire medical community.

My daughter was a patient of Dr. Shack’s at Friends Hospital. For 3 weeks my son-in-law requested to talk or at least email with Dr. Shack about her treatment. He didn’t want to breach patient confidence, just to share some important things about her condition. There was zero communication during her entire hospitalization, he even refused to attend a “team meeting” prior to discharge.
