Wish he would get fired
Wife went into the ER with pains and he was very dismissive of her and threatened her with admitting her. He wouldn’t listen to her at all and when she said she was hurting extremely bad he only said: “Do you want me to give you paine meds or admit you?”This guy is a straight up j e r k and shouldn’t be practicing medicine anywhere.

HE DOESNT DESERVE 1 STAR
HORRIBLE, HOPE YOU ARENT HAVING A LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCY. I TOOK MY MOM TO THE ER BECAUSE SHE WAS TOLD BY HER PCP THAT SHE HAD A BLOOD CLOT. HE DID A DOPPLER AND I WAS TELLING THE US TECH WHAT THE PCP HAD TOLD US, SHE SAID HE SHOULDVE ORDERED A DIFFERENT KIND OF DOPPLER. WHEN DR PALMER FINALLY CAME BACK IN, PROBABLY AFTER A COUPLE OF HOURS, I ASKED HIM ABOUT THE OTHER TEST AND HE SAID' WHATS THE PURPOSE?' I SAID IM NOT TAKING MY MOM HOME IF SHE HAS A BLOOD CLOT. HE RESPONDED IN A ANNOYING MANNER,' DO YOU JUST WANT ME TO ADMIT HER AND YOU SEE YOUR HEART DR TOMORROW' I WAS STUNNED BY HIS ATTITUDE AND WAS REALLY TOO TIRED TO ARGUE WITH HIM. THE NURSE ON THE DAY SHIFT STARTED MOMS IV WHEN WE GOT THERE AND NEVER RETURNED. WE STAYED THROUGH SHIFT CHANGE AND THE NEW NURSE CAME IN AND WAS SUPER NICE AND OFFERED TO GET US WHAT WE NEEDED. WHEN THEY MOVED HER TO A ROOM WE HAD GREAT TREATMENT. I CANT EVEN GIVE DR PALMER 1 STAR :(

Don't risk it
Dismissed my reports of symptoms. Addressed only one element. Sent me home when I should have been admitted. They had already given me my discharge papers when they said oh yeah, let's check your pulse ox. I wouldn't risk seeing him during an emergency.

Dr. Palmer is extremely arrogant and uncaring. He gave me prescriptions and told me to follow-up with a Dr. at the Diagnostics Clinic. The lady at the clinic informed me that they cannot accept a referral from Dr. referral. So I went to different hospital and it was discovered that I had some serious health problems. I should have been admitted but I was turned away from Baptist Med. Center because of him. He is a terrible ER doctor.

Dr. Palmer was very rude and disrespectful when a friend of mine was brought into the emergency room. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day, but I wouldn't risk seeing him for any type of future medical attention. He acted as if he was irritated to deal with the patient, the family, or the staff. I must say that the staff members were nice and professional, but I can not say the same about him. If you care about the type of care that you or your family receives please do NOT choose Dr. Palmer
