Excellent Service
Dr. Joon Kim was thorough, pleasant, and answered my questions. He and his staff conducted a thorough, efficient and timely evaluation at the Newnan office. He recommended that I defer any interventions for the time being with yearly follow-up visits to my opthamologist.

He couldn't care less for me or any of his patient
Incredibly negative. My complaints are not dissimiliar from what has already been said about him. Although he seems to be highly recommended by other professionals, his manner leaves a patient wondering if he can be trusted. I experienced some serious eye inflammation prior to my procedure and felt compelled to show it to him. He couldn't have been less interested and stated that I had a sinus infection to sit down and then he proceeded to laser my eye. Come to find out, I had a sty that became quite painful by the day after my procedure. He treats his patients like cattle being shuttled through a shoot to be inoculated and acts like he could care less about you. I'd rather go blind than to see Dr. Kim again.

SS
Joon Kim was very disrespectful and rude to me during my initial consultation visit. His office canceled my surgery (day of) due to his microscope being down. I’m now going to a different provider.

Would not recommend…
Very strange appointment! I went to see Dr. Kim for a cataract surgery consultation and he was very blunt in saying there was nothing he could do to make me happy because my cataracts aren’t that bad. He seemed offended that I had even been referred to him. I had the impression that he felt I was wasting his time. He may be a good surgeon but I was not impressed with him and would not go back, nor recommend anyone to him.

I was in waiting for Dr. Kim for nearly 45 minutes after having my preliminary exams done. Once he came in, he was brashed and rushed and I didn't feel he was interested in my concerns. I will not be going back to this eye doctor.
