Dr. Joon Park, MD

My dad was being consulted by Dr. Park during his stay. I attempted to reach out to Dr. Park to get further information about my father's treatment as I am my father's medical decision maker and DPOA. I spoke to the hospitalist who told me that he would reach out to Dr. Park to call me because I had questions for him regarding my father's care and Dr. Park told the hospitalist that he was not going to call me nor was he going to answer my questions. As a medical provider, it is your duty to provide informed care to all parties involved - this includes medical decision makers. Thankfully, the hospitalist I spoke with was kind enough to call me back to give me feedback from the doctor's response and answer my questions to the best of his ability. I know that people are busy and if that were the case, I might have a different viewpoint on the doctors response; however, he just didn't want to call me to answer my questions regarding my fathers care and treatment. Very unprofessional.

Dr Park relaxed me helped me understand what was going on and just took the time with me and let me ask questions

I am so glad that I saw Dr. Park . I did not expect to be seen so soon, after I handed in my referral letter unlike other doctors -it would take a couple of months. He is the doctor that listen to patient concerns and urgency about our health. He takes his time to explain all my concerns and worries. Not like other doctors just rushing for their time and push you out the door. Dr. Park is so easy to relay the message and he also make jokes to make you feel relaxed.
