Dr Alger took time to explain in detail the study results, with a thorough discussion about the mechanisms, interpretations and possible treatments available.

Dr Algers was very thorough in his diagnosis and explanation for treatment. I feel very confident in his diagnosis and experience to help me.

Dr. Alger knew my file and provided a clear path towards implementing a care plan focusing on my presenting condition. Kudos to his collegial bedside manner!

I saw Dr. Alger for an ED consultation. I got much better advice than what I hear you get from some men’s clinic that advertises on the radio. I have also seen Dr. Alger for prostate issues, and have been very happy with the result.

A CT was conducted and identified 2 issues, one of which dpes require immediate action to resolve.

The staff was very professional and polite. Dr. Alger was very professional and took the time to explain every thing. I felt he listened to me and answered any questions I had. I feel I'm in good hands with Dr. Alger.

I am not sure I would recommend Aquablation procedure as it did not last 1 year and I was told by Dr. Alger it would last 15 years.. it was not worth the pain of procedure. Alger is nice enough but did not do what he said and wants to go in again!!

Knowledgable and professional staff. Dr. Alger is very personable and easy to talk to and clearly very capable in this field of medicine. I had a follow on question regarding my prescription and my phone call was answered by his staff member who took care of my question. This was pleasantly surprising to me because of the typical phone tag and dealing with answering services, etc., I go through with other providers I deal with.

On schedule, friendly office staff, Dr. Alger with large find of knowledge, not rushed, ready to answer all of my questions. Highly recommended.

Dr. Alger was kind and very thorough in explaining exams, tests and options. Current protocols were followed with MRI, biopsy and PET scan to confirm prostate cancer after rising PSA readings. All staff were kind and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Alger.

Dr. Alger communicates clearly, responds to inquiries, seeks to understand the patient. He provides fact-based information and offers his reasoned opinion. Partners with the patient in treatment planning. I have prostate cancer which requires nuanced approaches customized to each patient's factual history and ongoing condition, symptoms. He respects the patient and welcomes questions and input.

I would not recommend the experience I had. Dr. Alger was interrupted multiple times by his cellphone. I felt the appointment was obviously rushed as if he had set a stop watch before coming into the room. At the end of the appointment he asked if I had questions while walking out the door. He was unwilling or unable to answer questions I had. I was really let down by his poor bedside manner especially for someone who works with patients on sensitive and uncomfortable topics. If your reading this review consider other options!

Dr Alger was very good at explaining the issue and involving me in the discussion. Seems very interested in my opinion and thoughts. Highly recommend.

I had a very complicated and difficult problem, and Dr. Alger took it on anyway, and did a great procedure. Excellent.Frankie, his PA is also great, and he did have help from Dr. Mazur, who is also excellent.In the end it was a perfect result.My thanks.

I am disappointed that Dr. Alger doesn't get back to you in a timely manner. I had an MRI done a month ago and I still haven't gotten his notes on my results. Not only that when you leave a message for the person in charge of radiology the office doesn't get back to you. I'm definitely switching doctors and out of Urology Associates.

I have been seeing Dr. Alger for nine (9) months! He and his staff are always caring about your total wellbeing.

Dr. Alger got up to speed on my file and my urologic concern prior to our appointment and provided reasoned explanations and suggestions on my path forward to deal with potential problems.
