Very thorough & compassionate!
I had been to another neurologist who was rushed, hadn't reviewed my chart at all, rushed in, agreed with ER decision to put me on Keppra and said see you in six months. Dr. Gould asked a lot of questions, listened to my history, ordered a follow up EEG to try to determine if my seizure was focal or generalized and really seemed to care about helping me rather than rushing to the next patient. I am so glad I opted for a second opinion and found him. The 1-star reviews are more staff related than Dr. related. He is part of Methodist hospital system and really doesn't control the office staff.

So good!
So good! Dr. Gould was compassionate, likeable, knowledgeable, thorough, understanding, listened and explained well, did not rush our time together. His staff has the same qualities. The appointment did take 2 months to see him but was worth the wait. I would definitely recommend him.

Saved my life
I had a series of cluster seizures, and Dr. Gould gave me medicine. The nasal spray stopped them in their tracks.

Very unprofessional
I scheduled an appointment for my daughter and I’ve been waiting list for two months. I call every other day to try to see if there’s any cancellations so I can get my daughter in sooner so the day before our appointment I get a call from one of the ladies there in the office telling me that they have to cancel my appointment because my daughter is 17 years old, I’ve been on the list for two months. I’ve called every other day and talk to Yolanda or the lady answering the phones none of them ever told me anything about my daughter having to be 18 years old. I even went to their office to signed all the paperwork gave them my insurance card and they never told me anything. now I’m having to start all over with my daughter with another doctor so now I’m gonna have to wait another two months to get to see another doctor somewhere very unprofessional of these doctors, and then I called to complain and they don’t care. So disappointed.
