Dr. Jordan Mabey, MD

I went into the ER at AF Hospital at about 11:30 PM for severe head trauma. Dr. Mabey came on at midnight, immediately looked at my CT scan, and came to see me. He was super helpful in explaining everything, very caring, and stitched me up instead of using staples at my request. He is exactly the kind of doc I like helping me - clear, unhurried, caring and helpful.

I waited for almost 5 hours at American Fork ER without receiving treatment from Dr. Mabey for an open head wound. I eventually left and had a neighbor clean and stitch up my head wound. Dr. Mabey did not stitch me up but submitted a full bill anyway for services rendered that I am currently disputing. His billing office says everything was coded correctly and I need to pay him.... for what? The ER facility waived their charges after analyzing the facts of the situation, but Dr. Mabey's billing office continues to request payment.
