Dr. Jordan Tacktill, DPM

Do not see Dr. Tacktill. I cannot stress this enough. He treats his patients like children, speaking to them as if they are brainless. He refuses to listen to their concerns. He doesn’t conduct thorough examinations. He gives paperwork at the end of his appointments that contradict what he says. For example, “Follow up with a doctor after 2-3 days if symptoms persist,” yet I was following up with him six days after the incident since my symptoms hadn’t subsided. Another example: I broke a toe, and the response I received to my concerns was, “Of course it’s going to hurt and be swollen.” Duh. This ain’t my first rodeo. “The swelling is what makes your toe appear out of place.” Sure sure. Well, guess what? I am now walking painfully on a toe that is turned outward so that when I stand, I am seeing the side of my toe. Walking has become unpleasant, especially since I have always carried my weight on that side of my foot. Do not—I repeat—DO NOT see him if you value your quality of life.

Awesome doctor, communication is spot on. In fact, one of the best doctors to communicate with. He's saved me a few different times with ingrown nails. I'm usually out within 20 minutes. His staff is excellent and usually by the next day you can't even tell I had nail surgery. Incredible. Dr. Tacktill is amazing!

Horrible doctor. Arrogant, unapproachable, almost lashes out at the patients in emails. Broke my foot last year. He suggested to wear a cast for 8 straight weeks, without ordering any x-ray every few weeks to see if there is any improvement. After 8 weeks my fracture got worse and he performed a surgery. 8 more weeks of removable boots and crutches. After the entire saga finished, I had to learn how to walk again. Avoid at all costs. Horrible horrible. Too bad there are no 0 stars ratings.

I had reconstructive surgery with Dr. Tacktill on my ankle. He took the time to explain everything to me with details and compassion. The surgery went famously and he even called the day after to check on me! Throughout my follow up care, he was informative, patient, kind, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Dr. Tacktill to anyone needing reconstruction of their foot and ankle.

Tacktill did the WRONG surgery on my daughters ankle through Kaiser permanente. Guided by the sales rep from the product he used, this was not something that would work on an ocd lesion of the tibia. Daughter had to have the CORRECT surgery to fix the lesion by a Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Specialty surgeon. The wrong surgery cost her a $40,000 ROTC scholarship. BEWARE of Tacktill-he thinks he knows it all-and was very rude to us-even when he knew his surgery did not correct problem.INCOMPETENT
