Bad coordination and comunication
Telehealth
you probably ask why one star? what i did?, let me open your eyes, the last year i try to make an appointment and then they gave me 6 month later, i found another DR, because I am Diabetic, then this year i try again and they gave me 2 month later, 4 days before my appointment i called for check my time and i found that you cancel this appointment because you was in vacation, my question if you already know that this week you go to vacation for what reason you make an appointment for this week and then cancel the appointment just like that. In my town in Puerto Rico we call this Irresponsibility, which means or is you or is your team, what take me to think that you don't have any communication with them, or they do whatever they want.

Bad supplier. Emergencies don't prioritize, I broke my foot and couldn't attend to me because I was busy or call me back, the Spanish-speaking assistant Midalis didn't want to take my call and talk directly to me. The truth is that I would never recommend very poor service from both the doctor and the local assistants and nurses.

I have been with Dr. Acevedo for many years and will never change physicians unless it is made mandatory by my insurance, as sometimes happens. Dr. Acevedo is always patient and never makes me feel rushed. He explains things to me in detail. Additionally, if he is not 100% sure about anything going on with me, he is quick to refer me to a specialist who should know. I note in his reviews that many drop a star or two from his rating because of the wait time. I cannot do that. It’s true that the wait time may sometimes be excessive, but I feel that dropping Dr. Acevedo’s rating may reflect poorly on him as a doctor and I do not think it is fair to deny his expertise as a physician based upon time spent in a waiting room.

He is my mother's primary care physician. She loves him because she can talk to him in Spanish..... but.... the wait time is horrendous, and he has prescribed for her, in more than one occasion, medicines that have KNOW side effects and/or interactions with the medicines she takes..... my mom's health has been endangered by this..... I can't trust him. I have to personally research each new medicine he gives her to make sure there are no side effects.... that should be done by him, not me..

Spoke with me a long time. He is very thorough and listens carefully. I waited quite a while in the waiting room so I gave him four stars. But I would recommend him.

I have used Dr. Acevedo for the last 7 years and am looking for a new doctor. He is a good physician whom I trust, but aloof and comes across as superior. I don't want a doctor who talks down to you. What I can't take anymore are the wait times. Be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes to an hour after arriving. This even happens if you are the first patient of the day. Last night I cancelled an appointment after waiting 90 minutes with no explanation or update of when I would be taken.
