Have sleep issues and you’re a woman? Don’t worry, instead of trying to figure out what’s wrong with you he will decide you have anxiety and depression and tell you to see a psychiatrist. God forbid you react with any less than a huge smile to the news that he will be denying you healthcare based on perceived mental health status because he will quickly push you out the door to get the next customer, I mean patient, in. Oh, and don’t worry, he will chart the interaction and do you the special service of adding a paragraph about how you guys discussed treatment options (including “behavioral health therapy”). Which is so kind of him, because obviously your silly anxious brain will completely forget that he apparently discussed a whole treatment plan during your appointment. You know, the one where he told you that your sleep issues are imaginary. But to be serious - what a lazy doctor. No bedside manner. Rude, unkind, and detached.

Dr Alzarez is never in a hurry, most doctors today it’s like going to the McDonald’s drive-thru, they can’t get you out fast enough, but not him he actually listens
