PCP
Dr Macia is a very professional Dr, calm, informative, caring, compassionate with his patients. He takes his time, explains everything easily for patients to understand and he made me feel confident with his care. Then my son became his patient too. We’re both happy to have you as our PCP. Thanks Doc!!!

Had an appointment with Dr. Macia today. I was a new patient. The staff was wonderful. Very thorough. Did not have to wait that long. Dr. Macia is very sharp and caring. Bottom line, they have a great team there.

Rude, discourteous, heartless, and maddeningly unhelpful staff. Requires patients to come in regardless status of health or issue. Will not provide video televisits, will not use email. Regularly refers his patients to other doctors without seeing or diagnosing them.

I've been going to this Dr for more than 10 years. He's willing to listen, discuss, and has helped me more with my debilitating migraines than previous doctors. I never wait long when I've made an appointment (you WILL wait if you show up unannounced, of course).

I have been going to Dr Macia for a long time. Never had a problem with him. He treats what he can treat and sends you to a specialist when necessary. I believe he really cares about my wife and myself. I also find his nurses professional and helpful.

I take a Rx that is a non controlled substance. Its a non narcotic, non stimulant, non addictive medication. This Rx can easily be written w multiple refills to be picked up at any pharmacy. Yet Dr Money Hungry insists its a controlled substance (even though it clearly states on the Medication Guide Attached to the bottle under section 9 that it's not) and that I must make a Dr appt every mo to see him in order to pick it up. I am a self pay patient, it costs me $90 out of pocket to pick up a free medication because Dr Macia insists on doing it this way. It is clearly unnecessary! I believe this Dr is unethical, uninformed, out of touch w modern medicine and taking his personal financial problems out on his patients.

well you never have to wait long, and you can set your timer for six minutes as that is all the time he will give you. he is not friendly and shows no compassion. he writes out your perscriptions with his back to you. he has no interest in listening or checking out your health concerns. pain medications are for only the terminally ill patients. all I got was sicker in my time with him. this is just a job to him, no human connection needed. he only uses perception of a patient. he needs a heart

Family has had Dr. Macia for the past 15 years . We have found him to be highly qualified and professional . He spends time with his patients and explains his diagnosis and clear and understandable terms. His office staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Appointments are easily made and wait times are quite reasonable .

This is by far the worst doctor I have ever been to. And one of the nurses is the rudest i have yet to encounter. They don't see prescriptions through and will leave you in pain without hesitation. If you call to ask for help they will give you attitude like it's your fault they called in a dosage that doesn't exist or a drug that your insurance doesn't cover. If you want a doctor that actually cares about your comfort and well being this is not the one.
