He’s the best! He came recommended by my pediatrician and I’m so happy that she did. It’s been going on two years and so far he has been nothing but respectful, attended and loving to my son. He treats you like family and makes you feel welcomed. I trust him and his experience. I also love Angela his narcissist! She’s the best. She’s like an auntie at the clinic. Always loving and attentive as well. Overall great experience every time I come. Highly recommend his office.

Dr. Serrat is a wonderful MD, he 'gets it', he really can connect and relate the children that see him for treatment. His clinical acumen is unmatched and bedside manner is kind and thoughtful, professional while being direct on what is needed to be done for successful treatment outcomes. His growth hormone coordinator Iva is amazing and her knowledge and understanding of insurance prior authorizations and protocols needed in order to receive GH therapy is amazing. She is kind and VERY responsive to the patients needs and extremely helpful in overcoming insurance obstacles. Her follow through with patients and insurance companies requirements is unparalleled and she is a tremendous asset to the Serrat Team to successfully get the patient on a treatment plan. My son has been Dr. Serrat’s patient for over 5 years. We went to his office after another endocrinologist did not think testing was necessary for my son and wanted a second opinion. Since then, we have had incredible treatment and care from Dr. Serrat and his growth hormone coordinator, Iva. Iva is excellent at her position, kind, and goes out of her way to help patients. We love this office and are beyond thankful for their care.

Dr Serrat and his hormone Coordinator, Ivanessa has been a blessing for both of my kids. Dr Serrat is a very knowledgeable doctor and takes all the time to explain the current plan on care and progress. Ivanessa , the hormone Coordinator, always goes above and beyond to assist in all appointments . Follow up questions. Medication teaching and any other concerns that you may have . Always with a positive attitude and fast response . The nurse is also very patient and attentive . The overall office staff is great ! Thank you for everything!

Ivanessa, the growth hormone coordinator, has been wonderful to work with for my sons’ journey the past few years. She has been helpful and willing to answer all my questions. My kids feel comfortable every time we go. Dr. Serrat is very honest, knowledgeable, and provides all the needed information and options.

Dr. Serat was my childhood endo while living in Florida. His bedside manner was unmatched. I was as difficult of a patient as you could have, and he made me feel seen and heard at ages 12-15. He encouraged me to take care of myself without judgement. He supported both me and my mother during those hard years. I struggled to take his advice then, but I did as I grew older. I’ve been a diabetic for 31 years, and against all odds, I have no complications. He saved not only me, but also my mom’s and I relationship.

Dr. Serrat is super professional, he took his time to explain everything to me and my daughter very well, super friendly, courteous. His staff were also very friendly and I got the appointment easily and quickly. Excellent!!

My daughter has been with Dr. Serrat for 5 years now, and since the beginning until now, he’s been simply THE BEST. He’s professional, courteous, always answers all my questions, and takes his time to explain anything we might not understand. His staff is professional, helpful, & very friendly. I saw Dr. Serrat from the ages of 12-18, and looking back, there were some issues with his care:1) Put me on Synthroid for hypothyroid, but refused to change my dose despite continued symptoms (hair loss, weight gain, always cold, low basal temp, etc). Also refused to test T3 & T4 levels - only TSH.2) Belittled me and my symptoms. He said - and I’ll never forget it - “Just take in fewer calories than you burn off! Honestly, I thought you were smart”. That’s exactly why I was referred to him, but he saw my weight as a personal failing.3) Suggested bariatric surgery when I was 13. THIRTEEN. Not even in high school, not finished growing yet, and definitely not prepared for the the complications I would’ve faced. Didn’t even think about the psychological impact it might have on the body image of a middle school girl. Thankfully, I didn’t do it. But he gave me trust issues with doctors that continue to affect me. When asked about bias in medicine, Dr. Serrat is my first example.

Dr. Serrat is very knowledgeable and thorough. He is very friendly and easy to talk to. His staff is very accommodating. I would highly recommend Dr. Serrat.

Dr. Serrat is an amazing doctor. He has been caring for a son for 5 years. He always takes time to discuss your concerns and his advice and treatment is excellent. HIs bedside manner is fantastic and he knows how to speak to children in a way that makes them relaxed and informed. Dr. Serrat's many years of experience is very helpful in creating a medical strategy for each individual case. His staff is very proffesional, courteous, and always available by phone to help with prescriptions, insurance issuess and other items.
