After so many appointments and attempts to find a solution, Dr. Menendez was able to step in and immediately create a game plan for me, giving me more hope, for the future.

The seating chairs both in the waiting room and the doctors room were the WORST EVER!

He helped us a lot.

Great surgeon and everything went well. I was disappointed after the 1.5 hr drive to only see him for 5 minutes. I’d recommend doing these appointments via webcam to save me the pain, discomfort, and disappointment of the brief appointment. Glad to have case managers for post op guidance. Nevertheless, thank you for doing a great job throughout the surgery.

He listened to my problem. Explained all he wanted to have done, other doctors, therapy etc. After I had a procedure done by a different Dr. saw him again. He explained the results of some of the tests that had been ordered. Felt he was very thorough.

He performed my spinal surgery and did amazing

Dr Menendez spent time with me and my husband explaining what we were seeing in my MRI. He explained I would need surgery and what to expect. I felt very calm about the whole visit.

I find Dr. Menendez to be very caring and understanding of my views. He explained my condition and answered my questions to my satisfaction. He explained that I have 3 options for my condition which were therapy, pain management or surgery. I first tried therapy and my pain got worse so I am going to have a nerve block to see if that relieve the pain. I explained to him that I do not believe in 'burning the nerves' as this does nothing to solve the problem that is causing the pain. He was understanding of my opinion and my condition will be evaluated after the nerve block.

I do not like to write negative reviews but I felt like I was interrupting his day. He may be an awesome neurosurgeon, but it seemed like he was annoyed with me, because I did not have an updated MRI. If I asked any questions that were not important to what he thought, we should focus on, he was abrupt and irritated. I get medicine and surgery is a science but I have been a nurse for 35 years and a little patience and compassion goes a long way. There was no warmth or interest from this doctor. Unfortunately, I will not be following up with him in the future. I hope he takes this feedback into consideration, so he can really help those that need his expertise, feel safe and comfortable enough to allow him to treat them. I truly wish him the best.

Dr. Menendez is a great neurosurgeon. He was kind and patient with all the questions & concerns regarding procedure. He performed an ACDF, and no complications from surgery.

Dr. Menendez has done 4 major surgeries on me and each and every one has been a success! Dr. Menendez really listened to what I had to say. I need another surgery and I wouldn't let another doctor do it except Dr. Menendez. I would highly recommend Dr. Menendez for your neurosurgery needs. He truly cares about his patients!

Horrible Dr. With terrible manners and he lies on his reports. Was very rude to me and my mother. Actually told her to shh, when she was trying g to get some information from him. An hour late for appointment. DONT GO TO THIS DR, SERIOUSLY

This was my first visit with the Dr. Jose Menendez . He wasn't very warm. He wasn't sure why I was here even after reviewing my records. He was thorough with his exam and answered my questions, and ordered CT scan to verify. Thanks Dr. For your help.

I saw the doctor he explained the surgery and how it benefit me then said come back when you weigh this much and we can schedule it. I know I’m overweight but does that mean I need to live in pain when there is a way I can be helped? I researched this surgery and the method he explained is the exact way that is explained they do it on overweight people and it was also said some surgeons refuse to do it on overweight people. This doctor is one of them. If you’re overweight don’t waste your time going here.
