Dr. Jose Viramontes Jr, MD

Dr. Viramontes performed bilateral vein ablation on my legs. Both legs on the same day. One leg was perfectly fine, but the other leg was left with a massive deep wound which required 6 weeks of wound care at a Wound Care facility. I was sent away with necrotic tissue in my leg so I went to my GP who in turn referred me to wound care because it was so bad. I would add photos, but they are awful and I don't feel right sharing them on a platform such as this. I would not recommend this surgeon for anything. Please do your research, there are many other vascular surgeons out there.

At my last appointment, Dr. Veramontes asked me how he and his office could improve my experience with them. Never in my 13 surgeries for various issues has a surgeon asked me that. Dr. Veramontes is practical and relates to his patients as people, not an insurance claim. (Some other folks in the local medical field should take note of that.) I did have some initial difficulties with non-medical staff. However, that was more than adequately addressed. Do yourself a favor and use Dr. V
