All excellent. The most skillful, experienced and professional surgeon anywhere I could have used to replace my calcified bicuspid aortic valve and repair my ascending aortic root. He definitely is the best in the business. John Carty, Esq., Villanova, PA

In 2011 I began to feel palpitations in my chest. I went to Paoli Hospital to have a checked out. They catheterized me and immediately sent me to Penn where Dr. Bavaria performed a reconstruction of my aortic arch, did three bypasses and gave me one new aortic valve. Even drew me a picture of what he did and signed his picture. Dr. Bavaria is the greatest and I would recommend him to anybody in the Philadelphia region or Delaware Valley region or anywhere. Dr. Bavaria gave me the last eight years of my life and I look forward to living many more. Thank you so much Dr. Bavaria.

Dr B is a rock star surgeon who replaced my bicuspid aortic valve in 2016, and basically gave me a new lease on life. Tough to put up with the 6 hour waits for the pre and post consults but worth it. He is the best in the business

Dr. Bavaria saved my life 2 years ago in an emergency surgery (Transverse Aortic Arch Dissection Repair). I was not aware that I had an Aortic Aneurysm until it was almost too late. I return to see Dr. Bavaria for a follow-up yearly. This past appointment he told me that my Dissection was "cured". uncommon in that type surgery. Truly miraculous!! I thank God every day for putting Dr. Bavaria in my path on that particular day and time. He is awesome!

Dr. Bavaria saved my life!!! I had a double dissected thoracic aortic arch aneurysm that was hemorrhaging. I was airlifted to Penn, Dr. Bavaria came back to the hospital and did an amazing repair. I was able to go home in 5 days, was back to most activities in 2 months and completely recovered and back to all of my normal activities in 5 months. He is amazing and also very humble!! We can't begin to thank him for all that he has done for us.
