Performed surgery on my son's lawn mower injury
My son suffered a traumatic lawn mower injury in 2010, and had to have a low tibial osteotomy performed in 2017. The surgery was extremely risky due to the fact that the surgery needed to be done underneath muscle flaps that had been grafted to his leg after his initial injury in 2010. Despite the complexity of this surgery, Dr. Bellflower was able to successfully correct the defect (to the best that it possible could be) and my son did not lose his leg.Dr. Bellflower is one of the premier orthopedic surgeons in the United States, if not the entire world. I would never suggest any other doctor to anyone in need of an orthopedic specialist.

Caring, compassionate and knowledgeable!
Dr Bellflower was recommended for my daughter by a friend at the beginning of our Scoliosis journey, but we had already scheduled somewhere else. We just had our first visit with Dr Bellflower and are scheduled for surgery. He heard her, did Xrays, and gave an exam. This is the first time in 2.5yrs that she's left a Dr office smiling. She said she feels at peace and it feels great knowing he listened. He was not only informative, but also expressed concern for her future health as well as quality of life.

Poor Communication
Just had an appointment and they didn’t take an xray in the brace. And it takes forever to get X-rays to the brace provider. Spending a lot of money and yet I have to spend my time running the X-rays back and forth. Can’t get the X-rays the brace people require. And the only communication is the annoying. Confirm your appointment 17 times.

Simply the best!
After having a horrible experience with another doctor, Dr. Bellflower went above and beyond for my daughter when she broke her tibia. They got us in quickly and every staff member was wonderful! I would not trust anyone else with her!

Competent, compassionate, consistent
Dr. Bellflower has cared for my grandson, with Spina bifida, his entire life (11 years as of 2022). He's compassionate, genuinely cares, is consistent in his treatment plans but is also able to be aggressive in those plans if the patient's injury/ disability requires that type of intervention. His staff is among the best, from the front office to the nursing staff to the xray dept. I have no reservations in recommending Dr. Bellflower to any family in need of ortho services.

Outstanding doc. takes his time to really examine my child listened answered questions. does outstanding with my daughter. very knowledgeable. He will give you all the options and leyyoupick which you feel most comfortable with. Is he picky about his patients? Yes and I am glad he wants things to be the best they can be. He doesn't settle for just ok.
