Dr. Joseph Carey, MD

Today, on April 1, 2025, I met Dr. Chavez Carey for the first time as a new patient. He is very kind and approachable. He carefully listened to all of my concerns and I requested blood work to be done, which he quickly ordered. The nurses were extremely friendly and kind. I am thrilled to have Dr. Chavez Carey as my new doctor.

I want my fellow patients to be informed and I hope this review isn't too harsh.No doubt Dr. Chavez Carey is a nice person, but as the Michael Jackson song says, 'All I wanna say is that they don't really care about us.' There is simply no care or concern about the patient. I'm literally telling him something is wrong with me and he's essentially telling me I'm fine because I look fine. I seldom can even get him, so I have to settle for his resident DO's who care even less. Perhaps it's more of a referendum on the American healthcare system, but Dr. Carey seems to only care about you when you're almost dead. He has a nice staff, but you can tell that they're affected by that same spirit. The facility is new and nice, but that means little when you walk out the door with more questions than answers.

Joseph Chavez Carey is VERY RUDE and Inconsiderate. Not sure why he choose This profession, he does not have the proper bedside manners and seems to not care about your health concerns. I asked him for additional blood work due to health concerns and his response was " For What, I'm Not doing That".. Find another doctor Garnet Health, he seems to be a misrepresentation of what health care system stands for.

I absolutely adore Dr. Chavez Carey and his staff. I am glad that I found such a caring and thorough FM doctor.

Dr. Chavez is an authentically caring doctor with wonderful bedside manner. Consequently, I’ve chosen him as the PCP for both my parents who are in their 70’s & 80’s respectively. Because their first language is Spanish, he makes an to communicate in Spanish as well. They are happy with him and seem to be more compliant because of the relationship he’s built with them. If I’m unable to be part of their visit (I’m their caregiver) I confidant they will receive optimal care. I highly recommend his practice.

Dr Chavez is awesome. He is very caring and thoughtful, just a wonderful physician. I highly recommend him.

Thanks to reviews on Healthgrades and other sites, I went to Dr Chavez Carey for a physical and other medical issues I was experiencing. I was able to get an appointment easily, his nurses were friendly and thorough. The doctor was the same and asked many questions to help diagnose the symptoms I experienced. I have had 3 appointments and very happy to make him my PCP. I highly recommend the doctor and his staff.

Very thorough and has a very friendly personality. The whole staff was fantastic, taking care of me immediately despite never having been there and having no appointment. I found my new primary care doctor and if recommend him to anyone who is struggling to find one of their own.

Well this is only THE BEST doctor I have ever found. I am SO picky with my doctor and rarely frequent one when I am sick but I have NO problem going into see Dr Carey or the others that are in that office. He remembers my name, my illnesses, everything. The doctor knows I am holistic and does everything in his power to find MY way to treat me. I'll never go to another doctor as long as he is around.

I had Dr. Carey for years when he practiced in california! Awesome doctor I would highly recommend him!
