Being told i'm fat and need surgery is not helpful. Yes i'm overweight but had you taken a minute to hear how i have already lost 40lbs this year maybe then you could have understood why i was mortified. Terrible advise

I've seen him several times over the past 2 years. He takes a little getting used to, but he's ok. The only problem is trying to see him. Seems every time I call to make an appointment, I'm told I can see him in 6 or 7 weeks. I hate that part and so I'm changing physicians.

A Primary Doctor is more than a Doctor that u go to if u have the flu. Having multiple, severe Medical issues, I depend on my Primary to oversee my care. Dr.DiPirro is the 1st pri Doc who keeps apprised of all my Specialists' visits & keeps accurate & utd records. He holds me accountable for keeping up with my Preventative Care too. He reviews my file before he sees me & goes over all the highlights to verify that they are accurate & will update as we go. He is very thorough & expects the same from his employees. Some say that he can be stoic. I beg the differ. He is a Professional & Doctor 1st & foremost. He takes his patients' appts & their health very seriously. However, he does have a sense of humor if you do. I love going to see him. And, even more so, I am relieved to finally have a Primary Doctor who is highly COMPETENT, PRECISE, & KNOWLEDGEABLE in handling patients with multiple & complicated Medical issues.... Including Cancer.

My mother was a patient briefly with Dr. Dipirro. My mother had gained a lot of water weight, was dizzy and weak. He chastised her for over eating and told her to take vitamins. He was rude and dismissive and even called her belly "pudgy". Turned out my mother was later diagnosed with stage 4 liver failure due to an auto immune disease. If I could give him negative stars, I certainly would. He should be ashamed if himself.

I've been a patient with Dr. Dipirro for two years now. At first, I wasn't sure if he was attentive enough for my needs. He seemed to be very busy and not too concerned about his patients. However, I decided to stick with him and to give him a chance based on his years of dedication to medicine. Presently, I have no need to look for another. He has proven he has a genuine concern and has an "eye" in detecting potential health problems especially at my age. Also, after getting to know him better … he can be quite the comedian! That's a damn good trait to have for a person in his career bracket of medicine. Laughter is the best medicine and a doctor who knows how to use it, is priceless.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dipirro's for three years. I have never had to wait to see him, but I think this is due to his fast visits with patients. He is perfect for the way of the world today. Fast service - no wait time - but poor quality. He provides what I need prescription wise, but I would never send my family to him!

My healthcare provider gave me a list of the primary doctors that took my kind of insurance. When I called the office to make an appointment the woman on the phone was extremely rude to me and told me he did not take my insurance. I do not think a big insurance company would lie to me about this office accepting insurance. This is a typical move by some doctors to only see patients with expensive insurance. This type of systematic discrimination is what is wrong with the healthcare system.

Dr. Dipirro is the best doctormy wife & I ever had. If he sees something a tad off on your bloodwork he keeps a close eye on it & will refer you to a specialist if he notices a pattern. He's strict(if you need to get bloodwork done you need to have it done before your visit). I know I need a doctor who I can count on & Dr. Dipirro is that doctor. His Staff is always great & the best thing about Dr. Dipirro is if your appointment is at 9:15AM you never have to wait but don't be late!

When I first met Doctor Dipirro, I thought he was a little abrupt, however since going to him for over a year now I find him to be concerned and gets a specialist to check you out immediately if your condition warrants it. I guess you just have to get used to him, but he takes care of you and your health.

Normally I do not take the time to review whether it is bad or whether it is good. I must say though that he and his staff are professional and they genuinely care. Dr Dipirro is mine and my husbands primary physician. He goes above and beyond to ensure you get the appropriate care. He does not forget about you and any task he has asked you to do. You are not a number with him not his staff. I am nurse and I can tell very few doctors and staff practice this way now.

This doctor does NOT care at all. He makes you feel like you are wasting his time. I can't believe he has been able to stay open so long. He is the worst doctor I have ever been to.

I only saw Dr. DiPirro one time, and that was enough. I am so much better off where I go now. The doctor himself seemed knowledgeable and took a lot of time to talk with me, which I appreciated. He is a little eccentric and is not overly friendly, but I took it with a grain of salt. HOWEVER, his staff is the worst. I have never encountered such rude people before. Not worth it to put up with them when there are plenty of other doctors in the area.

Dr. DiPirro has been my PCP for many years. He is an excellent physician, diagnostician and is well versed in pathology. Dr. Dipirro is a Doctor's Doctor. He is willing to spend all the time necessary to make you healthy. His staff are professional. friendly and willing to help in anyway. Even if I moved Interstate, I would keep Dr. Dipirro as my Doctor. Dr. Joseph is what a Dr. should be... Five Stars from me...

I was in a car accident and was placed on a blood thinner. This m/x required weekly blood draws to monitor. Initially I was told he "didn't do that kind of thing" and though he eventually agreed, he shortly after switched me to a new blood thinner which didn't require a draw and I ended up with awful side effects. You need a PCP who will go the extra mile for you. I believe this Dr. is only interested in doing work that results in reimbursement and is easily overwhelmed by patient requests.

I have had no issues with Dipirro himself, my biggest qualms are with his staff. Every single time I called to make an appointment, his staff was incredibly pushy and unfriendly. As well as unhelpful when it comes to basic questions. I don't know what kind of show you are running, but maybe you should hire a friendly person to answer the phone. This is no way to treat patients.
