STAY AWAY FROM Dr.Gallagher and his office
I had CDIF and Colitis that I got from multiple unnecessary surgeries from Dr.Gallagher. He and is unprofessional staff are extremely unorganized and all they care about is scheduling as many surgeries as possible. When a nurse called me from his office and told me that his surgery center had a bacteria problem and they kept scheduling surgeries.I had over nine surgeries by Dr.Gallagher to remove a large growth. He missed the growth. Now, I am still suffering and having to go to Duke University for the rest of my life. Do not go to this Dr.

Horrible staff
Although Dr. Gallagher was very nice his office staff has been horrible to deal with. Since making the appointment to scheduling a procedure it has been an nightmare. Josephine is the worse employee to have at an office where you may be dealing with a cancer diagnosis and trying to schedule a biopsy. Avoid this office please.

My son had severe ulcerative colitis and needed surgery to remove his colon at 18 years old. Dr Gallagher took the time to go to Arnold Palmer and discuss everything with my son. Dr. Gallagher did three surgeries on my son. My son has a jpouch and is so healthy and happy. The staff are amazing and so kind. Dr. Gallagher is the best, he is calm and encouraging but most importantly an excellent surgeon!!

Had a visit with Dr. Gallagher ordered lab work and said a procedure needed to be done. Did the lab work never heard a word, was told the surgery scheduler would call to schedule, never heard from anyone. Called about lab work said never got it had lab resend called to make sure they received it and was told they had the original was on her desk did not have time to scan them in. Spoke to Gail head nurse and had no idea about what Dr. Gallagher had said that needed to be done, asked to have Dr. Gallagher call me. HAVE NOT HEARD FROM ANYONE. Read their statement on their website what a lie. Find someplace else to go.

My husband and I have going to Dr. Gallagher for about 20 years & love him. The Underwood Clinc has the most caring people around. We've had colonoscopies and some surgeries there with Dr. Gallagher and would not even consider another doctor. Five stars for Dr. Gallagher and his stff!!
