Dr. Joseph Hartigan, MD

Dr. Hartigan's exemplary skills as a surgeon are enhanced by his integrity and caring disposition towards his patients. During a recent breast surgical procedure, Dr. Hartigan not only performed a flawless procedure on my wife, he thoroughly provided both a pre and post surgical orientation as to what to expect before , during and after the procedure was completed. His kind, altruistic approach far exceeds those of other physicians in his field. Most noteworthy, his detailed follow-up visits reassure his patients of the successful procedure performed, and of his willingness to assist with any post-operative concerns that may arise. For these reasons, I unequivocally recommend Dr. Hartigan to prospective breast cancer patients.

Dr.Hartigan was ready to do an surgery for my father in the beginning of December. Unfortunately the PCP involved was completely inept and shouldn't be working in the medical field. She dragged on my dads surgery for two months, leading us to go to the emergency room this morning. Dr.Hartigan was ready to take my dad for surgery from what it sounded like, although scheduling wouldnt allow it. Luckily he's made room tomorrow, which is honestly like a miracle. This is how real doctors work.

Dr. Hartigan was referred to me by two independent physicians and several patients; not a lot of surgeons today willing to do this procedure without mesh. Of the three possible corrective procedures for my issue, Dr. Hartigan is highly skilled and proficient at performing all of them. Found his demeanor straight forward and candid which I happen to like. He is both a skilled and meticulous surgeon. Suffered no post operative pain or discomfort; cannot even see a post operative scar. No more hernia. Had procedure done at the Jacksonville Surgery Center; cannot say enough positive things about this facility; clean; professional, knowledgeable and attentive staff. Much thanks to all involved.
