Dr. Joes and his great staff have saved my life! I am a 8 year cancer survivor and Dr Jones refers to me as his Success Patient. From the verry beginning when his staff administered 6 months of chemo, then the surgery, to today, the yearly follow ups, its been quite a ride. Thank you, Dr. Jones, for all you do for me.

He always wants to know if I have any concerns about my previous cancer even though I have past my 5 year anniversary.

Dr. Jones is a very caring oncologist. He knows a lot about many types of cancer. I’m amazed that we have someone so knowledgable in such a rural area. I went to see one of the best known breast cancer doctors in the country for a second opinion after Dr Jones first diagnosed me with Stage four breast cancer. She completely concurred with his treatment plan which was very new, a CDK4,6 inhibitor plus something old, letrozole. I am on the same treatment plan seven years later. That’s unbelievably great!

How everyone is so friendly and caring.

Dr. Jones takes his time to really listen. I am in the follow up process of my cancer, so our visits aren't long. But they're not hurried either, which I appreciate.

He is very personable, never appears hurried and answers all questions in depth. He presents options and makes recommendations. I feel very fortunate to have him as my oncologist.

In my mind Dr. Jones is not just my oncologist but a friend that I rely on to direct me in the right direction with treatment and options. He is a genuine, 'real' person that I have come to trust explicitly. He is always positive but extremely so when I have needed some positivity. This attitude has spilled over into everyone that I have come in contact with at Southern Cancer Center.
