Horrible!
We arrived 15 minutes late with our toddler (ANY mom will tell you how difficult it is to get anywhere on time with a toddler. Both my husband and I left work for this appointment and Maytal wouldn’t see us bc we were late. I’ve never experienced anything like this. Beyond upset how he treats his patients. Parents avoid this office! Avoid this dr. Read reviews. There’s a reason for his 2 stars.

This guy is the worst. Scheduled an appointment with him for my daughter’s headaches. His PA was nice but immediately tried to push ADHD drugs on my daughter. The doctor came in and did not introduce himself or even acknowledge I was in the room. He shut the lights, told my daughter to stare at the phone on the wall and he looked into her eyes with a light. He looked at me, then looked at the PA and said “no eye pressure” and then he walked out. He was in the room less than 20 Seconds and that was his whole first consultation. I was told I needed to wait for authorization from my insurance for an MRI by the PA. The whole experience was bizarre and the doctor was really unprofessional. Time for him to hang up his white coat and retire.

Please do not bring your child to this doctor. We brought our son to him when he was 2 and he told us our son's issues were "not neurological." Now at 6, our son is still suffering and a top children's hospital diagnosed him last week with a congenital Chiari malformation which explains every symptom this kid has. Our son is having neurosurgery this fall. Thanks Dr. Maytal for being 100% wrong and costing our son and our family 4 years of suffering. His incompetence is truly astonishing.

Even though there is a genetic illness in family he failed to acknowledge families concerns after an incident with infant. No follow up. Child diagnosed years later by competant doctor after suffering with symptoms for years. Pediatricians thought nothing of these symptoms because they believed this incompetent doctors opinion. Stay away!
