Dr. Meyer, 6/20/2021 I just wanted to say thank you for treatment you gave me and the knowledge required to instigate that treatment at a moments notice when I coded in the pre-op room. Having educated myself on what went wrong and the successive treatment protocol, I'd say you (and the hospital by having kept the necessary lipid (ILE) treatment updated and readily available) were spot on in handling the incident. I'm alive and thriving because of this. I remember you saying this had never before occurred to you during your many years of practice and from what I've read most anesthesiologists will most likely never encounter it. I'm thankful I was in the care of your team at Blessing during this rare pre-surgical complication! Thank you again, and feel free to share this message with anyone else involved in this event. Sincerely, Monte (Montgomery) Morris
