Dr. Joseph Nissim, MD

Dr. Nissim is the best Physician me and my wife ever had. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, and caring. We like him as a doctor and as a person.

I had my first visit with Dr. Nissum with hopes of finding a new Primary Physician. Dr Nissum’s demeanor was pleasant but he was very limited and had a conservative western style of medical care and cannot offer options on medications or other treatments. I found his style of medical knowledge old fashioned, dated, very limited which I feel would be a great concern for someone who is struggling with different health issues. He didn’t seem healthy himself which is also a concern. He has no Physician Assistant so that was a red flag for me. He is nice but nice doesn’t cure or treat medical issues. I will say he was honest about his style of medical care.

Unsatisfied. 6 weeks ago I scheduled (online) a Medicare Wellness appointment for 11:00 am on a Thursday. At 5:00pm the day before the appointment, I was called by someone from Frontier Internal Medicine to tell me that Dr. Nissim only does these appointments at 9:30 and that I would have to be re-scheduled. This is after I had confirmed the appointment via email and text several times in the weeks preceding the scheduled appointment. The soonest re-schedule date they offered was 4 months hence. I was told that this is Dr. Nissim's policy, not a policy of Frontier Medical Clinic.

Dr Nissim is a wonderful, knowledgeable physician Be grateful if you are among his many patients I am.

Dr. Nissim is the kind of doctor I thought no longer existed. He is patient, listens to your concerns, explains health issues in terms you can understand, and is not in a rush: all qualities I value in a primary care doctor, but very rarely find.

He listens, is gentle and works with us to optimize our health. He spends as much time with us as needed. we take care of wife's brother who is autistic and deaf (challenging) Dr. Nissim takes his time and works with him well. His best character trait is that he is humble - he doesn't jump to conclusions - works with us on investigating anything.
