Dr. Joseph O'Neil, MD

Dr O’Neil had a great bed side manner, listened to my concerns, did a thorough exam and explained what my heel pain was from, my X-ray findings and plan of care.

Was referred to Dr Oneil by the chief of orthopedics. I’ve had a long history of ankle issues and was turned away by another surgeon as my case was “too complicated”. Dr Oneil confidently explained my surgical options. Met with me more than once and patiently answered all questions, understanding my hesitance. He mapped out a plan and performed surgery on me. Since that time and for the first time in years, I am pain free! He is very skilled, no pressure and came by high recommendation and I will gladly refer others to him. I cannot wait to get back to my normal life walking pain free.

After having x-rays completed. I met with Dr. O’Neil to review the x-rays and have a physical examination of my ankle. Dr. O’Neil discussed my findings. Appears I had an undiagnosed fracture when I was about 10 years old. He felt there was no surgery required but recommended using an orthotic insert in my shoes. I was very satisfied with the results of my examination with Dr. O’Neil

Dr. O’Neil has a pleasant manner and is a careful listener. He asked probing questions to determine possible causes and after a physical exam of my foot and looking at the X-rays and realizing there were no fractures, he gave me several options to help with the pain while the injury was healing. I left the office feeling very relieved.

Awesome experience, very professional, so nice to deal with

My 101 year mother fell and needed surgery for her fracture. She did really well and is walking with a walker now without pain. Dr O’Neill was great as a surgeon, and is professional and personable.

Great doctor for my son’s ankle injury

Dr. O'Neil has done an awesome job fixing my ankle. I know I have a long road ahead of me, but my ankle is already better than before the joint replacement surgery, and it's been less than 6 months. I'm very happy with his work.

Excellent explanation of options re treatment.

Dr. O’Neil repaired a serious break in my ankle that required external fixation surgery and a final surgery which placed a plate and screws. He took me into surgery on a weekend ( so I didn’t have to wait for fixators to stabilize the ankle. He and his nurse were in close contact and caring professionals, who helped me minimize any discomfort throughout this pandemic year! Healing is complete, and am in PT at same location. I highly recommend Dr. O’Neil!
