Dr. Joseph Tayar, MD

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Tayar for about a year and a half now for asthma. It took us a while to get to him as we saw allergists and pediatricians to address her chronic cough before finally getting at asthma diagnosis. Dr. Tayar is absolutely wonderful! He takes time with patients, answers every question, walks through every detail and is warm and friendly. I feel so confident with my daughter in his care. Probably the best doctor I've encountered as a parent. We are very grateful for Dr. Tayar!

He explained everything very well and dumbed it down so I understood. Good bedside manner. Efficient and wasn’t rushed. Overall a pleasant experience.

I couldn't have picked a better doctor than Dr Tayar for my daughter! What I appreciate most is how he intentionally aims to develop a trusting relationship with her. Upon entering the room, he always asks questions about how she's doing and what are her interests at the time. He'll spend 5-10 minutes just talking about boba tea, skateboarding, and redecorating her room.. Totally random things before he even addresses her asthma. He also educates her throughly about not ignoring symptoms and why it's important to start her rescue meds early if needed. He addresses us as the parents once he knows she understands the plan. Dr Tayar is a gem of a doctor! (I'm a pediatric nurse so I'm EXTRA picky, too!) I HIGHLY recommend him.

Dr. Tayar is a tireless advocate for his patients. He is knowledgeable and committed to improving the lives of his patients. He saves lives.

Dr. Tayar always takes the time to explain everything in detail. Always asks if we have any questions, doesn’t feel like visit is rushed. I feel like he goes above and beyond for my baby! Overall a great, GREAT doctor.

Dr Tayar has been awesome in the care of my son’s asthma, for several years. He’s very attentive, patient, knowledgeable, and takes a “down to earth” approach with both the kid and parent. Love how he communicates everything with him, in a way where he understands his care. My son loves going to his “cool” Dr as he puts it. He’s great at what he does!

Dr. Tayar is my favorite doctor that my daughter has. He takes time to listen and talk with my daughter before we even talk about her visit, he makes us both comfortable and at ease even if we are having a difficult time with her asthma.
