I have known Dr. Valdez since 1992. Since then I have continued to see his receptionist Maggie continue to run his patients off. She is so rude to everyone that his patients hate calling his office or going to their appointments just because they have to deal with her. Dr. Valdez is a great doctor and would have a much more successful practice if it was not for her. I pray he comes to this realization soon and finally either let’s her go or at least moves her to a position that has no interaction with his patients

Very nice office staff. Dr. Valdez was very attentive and asked questions about my symptom to take care of me. I didn't feel like he was rushing with me to go see another patient. Took his time and very thorough.

As you see in most of the reviews Dr Valdez is a pretty good doctor but his staff is incompetent and rude. Maggie is especially rude, condescending, and has no business dealing with patients or families. Office staff will make or break your medical office and are the primary people you will deal with. Customer service, communication, and knowledge base needs so much improvement we will not return to this office.

I give the doctor 5 stars, but his staff is pathetic. Trying to get an already authorized refill is process no one on blood meds should have to go through. My pharmacist even said Maggie hung up on her.

The worst family practice office we have ever dealt with this office deals with senior citizens and they do not give them the attention or the urgency that they so deserve I strongly recommend that anyone taking their parents have an older age to a doctor to completely avoid this office the staff is horrible and the doctor is not any better for allowing his staff to be so incompetent.

Dr. Valdez was GREAT, caring and took time with me. I do, however have major issues with the staff. Maggie is just plain rude, and Valerie must be in training because she constantly gives wrong information & will not let you finish a sentence. The other lady refused to even give me her name & is ALWAYS mad. It's too bad, I have to find another Dr, not because of the Dr, because of his staff??

HORRIBLE! Front receptionist is the worst!!! She will give you a hard time and always be rude to you. She thinks she's the boss of the place and knows everything when at the end of the day she is only a receptionist.. Save your trip and go somewhere else!

Dr Valdez has excellent bedside manner, he is always very professional and thorough no matter how sick I am and he always goes above and beyond to ensure I am healthy, he never rushes me to get on to the next patient and that tells me he really cares about his patients and not just the money.

I am very pleased with Dr. Valdez, he always takes his time with each and every patient to ensure we all receive the very best care. He is not a pain management doctor, he is a REAL DR!! The nurses and staff are always great too, they work me in for same day appointments anytime I am sick and my appointments aren't an all day event....I get in and get out quickly, even if I have to wait a few extra minutes on a rare occasion, its totally worth it! I highly recommend J.Valdez.

This doctor is horrible the nurse that sits in the front is always in a bad mood. The doctor prescribes medice that testing has been cancel because of so many bad side effects. He uses you as a lab rat. On some places he is advertise as a doctor that specialices in pain management this is not true. It is just scam to bring in more people he is just in general practice.
