October 2022 discovered blood in urine, dismissed as kidney stone Continued so visit to GP revealed blood in urine, referred to Dr. Veys Urologist. Upon examination discovered cancerous tumor. Tumer removed May 2023 followed by one chemo treatment then began BCG regiments. Cystoscopy January 22, 2024, ALL Clear. Dr. Veys cares about his patients and responds to emergency calls with a sense of urgency. In my opinion Dr. Veys is the GOAT of his profession. My need for a urologist began as a young person and has continued over the past 25 years. I began seeing Dr. Veys over 15 years ago after moving back home to Georgia after living out of state. My greatest concern when looking for a new urologist was whether or not I would be able to get in to be seen quickly when my urology issues arose. Admittedly I had concerns that with North Georgia Urology being the only urology practice in Dalton that I might experience difficulties with that because I knew how busy their practice is. However, from my very 1st visit with De. Veys over 15 years ago followed by too many visits for me to count since then, Dr Veys has provided me the best care I can ask for. When I am suffering in pain and have needed to get an appointment he ensures that I can get in to be seen quickly. He is knowledgeable, professional, a great surgeon, and most of all he truly cares. If you are looking for a urologist I can not say enough good things about him.

Dr. Veys made my vasectomy much easier than I imagined. He explained everything thoroughly at my consultation and answered any question I had. He performed the procedure flawlessly from start to finish. I had very minimal pain during and afterwards. I was back to normal in a couple of days. He and his staff are phenomenal. This being my second vasectomy(the first was 2004, with a reversal in 2012), this made the procedure a little more cumbersome for Doc. Even still, I hade almost zero discomfort. Even down to the numbing shots which I barely felt. Dr Veys and NG Urology’s staff are professional and courteous. Following his post op procedures, I barely knew I had anything done the day after. Very highly recommended!

Dr. Veys has treated me for 5 years for kidney cancer. I could not be more pleased with the treatment I have received. Just had my 6 month check up and I am still cancer free after 5 years.
