Amazing surgeon with attitude of confidence and compassion. Dr. Zimmerman performed surgery on my knee and previously performed shoulder surgery on my son. Both with fantastic results!!!

I recommend him to everyone. Had my left knee done fantastic job. Dr Zimmerman will be doing my right one real soon.

Dr Zimmerman is the best Orthopedic surgeon in the area. He replaced my left shoulder and I will have him replace my right one. He is very knowledgeable and explains the procedure in detail. His Secretary, Abby, is a wonderful asset to him.

Dr. Zimmerman and his staff were awesome, Any questions and concerns were answered when asked. I am able to exercise at the gym with my new knees with no problems. I would recommend Dr. Zimmerman to anyone with knee problems.

I went to 3 other doctors before I chose Dr. Zimmerman to do my shoulder replacement surgery. He answered all my questions, many before I even asked them. He never made me feel like he was in a hurry and he was polite and kind when dealing with all my concerns. I am post surgery and healing extremely well. I highly recommend him.

Honesty And willingness to explain procedures

I had shoulder resurfacing surgery in February 2018 done by Dr. Zimmerman with an excellent result. I just had the other shoulder done by Dr. Zimmerman in November 2021. Progressing nicely. Going to PT. Not all orthopedics do the shoulder resurfacing - it is not as invasive as a total shoulder replacement, Resurfacing is a good fix for severe arthritis in shoulders. Recommend Dr. Zimmerman.

I came with swollen knee May 13, xray showed nothing amiss, got cortisone shot, improvement then much worse by July, with other troubling problems. I have Lyme disease. Dr. failed to even consider this, cortisone shot know to suppress local immune response and make things worse, so it was his professional responsibility to rule that out before giving steroid shot. I lost 2 months treatment time, and may have long term problems because of his neglect. Called office to give feedback. Empty, nonsensical defenses, such as we do test but wait for second visit (none was scheduled and no time to waste with Lyme), "he would have tested if you asked" (I am not the dr), Lyme test is too expensive (didn't know dr paid for Lyme test). Doctor never called back. I have no idea if this harm will be done to future patients. It should be a no-brainer, swollen knee, no apparent cause, think of Lyme.
