Met Dr. Zitar while in the hospital. He was my hospitalist. Honestly one of the nicest doctors I've had. He listened to my questions and my opinions. He was also very calm and friendly.

After meeting this dr, I found him to be arrogant, and deliberate in his statements. When I asked him if I should have a second flu test performed, he stated that the test he had done is accurate, and even though I had additional information, he refer to his previous statement and said his test is good.. 24hs later.. tested again.. I had the flu.. He insisted that my cholesterol is bad.. I have known heart issues.. so of course its bad.. Test results return my cholesterol is within limits..

Worst experience ever with a medical provider. Front office staff are incompetent and rude. Doctor's and PAs are incapable of writing an acceptable script for an autistic child's therapy services. Even after two appts & a written example of how the script should be worded, the script was not written according to state standards. To correct the script they wanted us to make a 3rd appt & pay a 3rd office visit effectively paying $450.00 for a script (a 5 min job). Unethical/insurance fraud?
