Best Ever
Dr Sabharwal is the best. I am so sorry she left Chalmette, la. I have not found a doctor yet in her field to treat me for my condition. I wish she comes back to Louisiana. I am so sad she left. It has not been the same. She was the best.

I loved Dr. Sabharwal. But her office leaves a LOT to be desired. I live in Baton Rouge but was working in New Orleans. Had good experiences until my job was ending and I needed to have a last appointment before leaving the city and losing my insurance. The office would not respond to my calls or emails and I was unable to get an appointment. Then they stopped responding to my pharmacy's faxes for prescription refills. Now I am having to conserve my medication in order to make it last until an appointment with a new psychiatrist and my anxiety levels are through the roof. This is utterly irresponsible and unethical.

Dr. Sabharwal does not listen to her patients at all, One day she spent twenty minutes of my time telling me how to make a home gym to work out in after I came in to discuss a severe anxiety attack that landed me in the hospital... She is a nice enough person, but every time I see her I leave feeling worse than I did before because she makes me feel like the reason I have severe depression and anxiety is because I am lazy.

I agree with the reviewer who said this doctor does not listen to you if what you say does not go along with her preconceived notion of you. She even tries to guide you to say what she wants to hear - it is really strange. Also, it is next to impossible to get a refill on a script and they don't schedule you so that you wont need refills. So if you run out of a med with awful withdrawal symptoms 2 weeks before your appt, you will be suffering for two weeks. Good Luck.

She did not listen to the answers I gave to her questions. I kept having to repeat myself. In the end, she told me to think the pain away. She also told me I would never not be in pain, when I have just started trying to find treatment. She was unpleasant, and seemed to have made up her mind before she even asked me a single question. As stated before, she did not listen to anything I said that didn't fit with her preconceived opinion.
