I have had two Total Knee Replacements with Dr. Carter in 2023-24. As many have said before you will not find a kinder, more patient and attentive doctor. He is professional, respectful of all questions and generously shares his knowledge and encouragement throughout the surgery process. His staff is 100% welcoming and helpful during visits and 100% responsive to phone contact. The Best.

I saw Dr. DeSalle for pre op consult. He was very thorough, reviewed things, was friendly but gave time to ask questions. Also a shout out to Jessica and Bethany for being friendly, competent, gentle nurses who also explained things well, gave time for questions. Dr Carter replaced a hip so I’m going with him again for a knee replacement. Everyone at Midwest is excellentmedically while leaving time for a little off the record chat, it’s never an assembly line feeling. I appreciate their Christian values.

Dr. Carter is a great doctor. Listens to his patients and answers questions. Took the time I needed and was very professional and friendly! His assistant Adam is a great asset to the practice as well.

My first experience with MJRC was for a knee problem. Dr Berend did the surgery 5 years ago. This appointment was made on short notice for my other knee. Dr Carter was able to see me on short notice. My experiences at their facility ihave been wonderful. Dr Cater makes you feel very comfortable and caring. His evaluation and diagnostic skills were done with care. Treatment options were reviewed. My drive to Indy is 2 hours each way. Why? I want the best care and treatment. I never felt like a number. I’m sure I’ll be returning. Thanks to all!!!

As an RN of 43 years and very picky about my doctors, I’m so glad a dear friend recommended Dr. Carter and his staff. I had a partial knee replacement a year ago and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience and end result. His staff were very attentive to my needs and listened to my fears of allergies, etc., worked with me on everything. Put me at ease for the surgery and were there for anything I needed after. I will definitely use this doctor and staff again if ever needed.

Dr. Carter has to be one of the most wonderful, compassionate, knowledgeable, and friendliest doctors I have ever seen! He is so very personable and explained in much detail why he didn’t think I needed a knee revision as the last orthopedic doctor I saw said was needed. I was so dreading another excruciating knee surgery, but thanks to him and his expertise, it will just take time for the pain in my knee to dissipate after falling on it in August. If you are facing a joint replacement, I would most definitely have him do it! Everyone at Midwest Center for Joint Replacement was so very kind and caring! Dr. Carter is an awesome doctor. He is personable and explains everything very thoroughly. He has given me two hip replacements. Both were phenomenal successes. I no longer limp and the recovery was quick and relatively painless.

Dr. Carter right away made me feel comfortable talking to him. I felt he had an intense interest in helping me find out the cause of my pain. I definitely would recommend him to my friends in need of an honest opinion of their problem and how to treat it. What a nice doctor!

Dr Carter replaces my right hip in January, 2018. Wonderful experience, hardly any pain, walked out that afternoon, feels and works great!

Dr Carter is the best. The entire staff is personable, informative, and caring. Five years out from surgery and my hip is perfect! Will not go to any other orthopedic dr. Worth the almost 2 hour drive.

I had My left hip replaced on January 27, 2020. Dr. Carter did an excellent job of preparing me for the surgery, outcome and recovery. I maintained a rigid schedule of doing what I was told to do and 14 weeks later was basically on my normal routine of working out on my Elliptical and weight lifting. I was back up to 260 pound squats heading to my normal 320. I can't say enough good about the outcome. I am pain free in my left hip which has been over 2 years. I am blessed and excited to continue the process of healing and getting back to an active life without pain. My right hip will need attention in the next couple of years and I will not hesitate to see Dr. Carter this time instead of suffering through the pain as I did before. I couldn't even walk the beach in Aruba on vacation in January of 2020. I will now be able to enjoy my blessed life without the unbearable pain. I am so thankful and grateful for meeting Dr. Carter. I would recommend Dr. Carter without hesitation.

Dr. Carter and his team are outstanding! The surgery and outcome were better than I ever expected. Arrived at 7, surgery at 9 and eating Rally's burger at 1. Best of all pain was gone.
