Uncaring Doctor!
I had surgery with this doctor after a lumpectomy. While the results of the surgery were okay, the process of getting there was barbaric. I came into the recovery room screaming in pain. I found out the operation was 3 hours but he used a pain killer that lasted 45 minutes. A nurse told me this.. This was outpatient surgery and I was sent home with acetaminophen and ibuprofen - after having my breasts chopped up. Long story short, I was in significant pain for weeks. In my follow up appointment with my cancer surgeon, she asked how I was doing. I explained the situation and she immediately gave me a prescription for a real pain killer. She said what I had is a very painful surgery. She is senior to Dr. Fosnot and called him about this. On my next visit with him, he was very apologetic and offered to give me a pain killer. (At this point, I didn't need it ). It shouldn't take a dressing down by a senior doc for him to treat his patients humanely and with compassion!

I am soooooo happy with my results!!!! Dr.Fosnot is an extremely talented surgeon with a keen eye and meticulous skill. After having a double mastectomy with a diep flap, my previous surgeon left Penn with my surgical reconstruction journey incomplete. I was recommended by another Penn Medicine doctor to see Dr. Fosnot. From the start, Dr. Fosnot made me feel super comfortable. He explained what he thought I needed and why. Dr. Fosnot is knowledgeable and thorough, and gave me all the time I needed to ask my questions. He is honest with a wonderful bedside manner. Dr. Fosnot made me feel very confident the day of surgery and was so caring after the procedure. And did I happen to mention… I LOVE my results!!!!!!!!! I am so lucky my path led me to Dr. Fosnot!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Fosnot to anyone looking for a top notch plastic surgeon!!!! He is absolutely the BEST!!!!!
