My visit to Dr. Hartman was very pleasant. He discussed my health issue. He encouraged me to do workout and diet. He is very respectful. He carried his profession very well. He is very knowledgeable when it comes of nutrition.

Worst Doctor's I Ever Had
Telehealth
Dr. Joshua Hartman is one of the worst doctors I've ever had the unfortunate opportunity to meet! He was referred to me by Dr. Nicholas Brown who was my former GI before he transferred to NYP in Brooklyn. The very first time I met him he was unpleasant and unfriendly, and his rude and unpleasant behavior remained when I had my colonoscopy in 2023. I've been told by other doctors who have worked with him that he is very rude, nasty, and very unprofessional. On two separate occasions, I had telehealth calls with him and he never greeted me when he got on the call, never pleasant. I had a recent telehealth call with him in July 2024, and he was 17 minutes late, when he got on the call, never apologized, never greeted me, and just addressed me with a nasty attitude. No patient should be treated disrespectfully like he has treated me! If he is unhappy with his job as a GI with NYP then he should quit his job!! This is what I experienced with Dr. Hartman and

See you in 5 years!
I met Dr. Hartman and his staff this week as I completed my colonoscopy. I was so impressed (this was not my first such appointment, but probably my 4th or 5th- the first with Dr. Hartman), and one of the best experiences I have ever had (yes, it is possible). Each member of this team were professional, compassionate, and although they perform many of these procedures daily, I felt I was their primary patient at that time, and I had the time to ask questions without feeling rushed. I don't usually comment on providers, but felt this experience was worth bragging about. Thank you Dr. Hartman!

Going for a colonoscopy is not fun, but Dr Hartman has such a kind and calming demeanor that the whole process was easy and painless. (except for the prep!) He didnt make me feel bad for putting off the procedure for so long, was thorough and unhurried in his explanations, and best of all called me personally to report my results. Dr Hartman has a very strong energy of caring and competence. A+
