Bad communication
Met Dr for approximately 30 seconds before my emergency hand surgery never to be seen again. my home care nurse communicated with him very poorly about my operation. Will not be seeing this doctor again

Great with Dr Mirrer thus far. HORRIBLE with the doctors staff, messaging, return phone calls, navigating the broken office system

Had hand surgery with Dr Mirrer about a year ago now at honorhealth scottsdale osborn. He was continuously pushing for conservative management in a hand tendon wound when it was progressively worsening and my range of motion was getting worst. I had to talk the infectious disease doctors into ordering a MRI which showed a possible tendon infection and he took me to surgery the next day. He documented it as an elective surgery so my insurance did not end up covering it since it was out of state and not deemed emergent. I will give him 2 stars because the surgery went well but only 2 stars because it was a poor medical workup of a common condition. I ended up paying for all of his care out of pocket because it was not considered emergent and i spent months talking to his billing department to file a claim which he never contacted me back about.

Dr. Mirrer operated on my mom at Banner Medical Center. Because of the Covid-19 emergency no family members were able to be there. He said he was going to call my dad after the surgery - he never did. It is now nearly 24 hours post-op and my mom still has not heard from him or from any of his associated specialists. Our whole family - especially my mom - is really disappointed in this type of treatment. Shame on you.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Mirrer via Chandler Regional Hospital's ED/Admission as my plastic surgeon for my face. He was calming, easy to talk to/listen to, and most of all worked with me on achieving the best outcome. Most doctors don't listen or work with you it was nice to have someone who did. Even in the follow up he was just as calming and understanding, he does his dictations in front of you and I feel that says a lot about a doctor and his attention to detail on a patient. Not to mention he is easy on the eyes making the whole thing an all around good experience! .

He met me at Chandler Regional ER (on a Saturday afternoon) to repair my thumb after I had an accident with a table saw. He was easy to talk to me explained each step during the process, and made sure it was pain free. I have had an excellent interaction with him this for and look forward to my follow up appointment.
